JD Vance: "The Iranians are extraordinarily difficult people"

Gee, I wonder if bombing them while we were negotiating an agreement has anything to do with it? Or maybe it’s the slaughter of schoolgirls? Or killing their leader and much of his family? Or bombing their energy infrastructure? Or the lies and inconsistent messaging? I wonder why they’re difficult?

No, they actually aren't. Soleamani sent Centcom a letter thanking us for our restraint and promised the same in return. This was in 2016. Something changed in 2016. I wonder what that was.

It's amazing JD how "extraordinarily difficult" people can be when you launch a massive, unprovoked attack on their country in the middle of pretend "negotiations". And you did the same trick twice. Stick to domestic "pet-eating" racist drivel, maybe that fits your skill set better. Racist slob.

What? You mean the “finest minds”whose mouths fellate the “finest minds” of that it war zone called Silicon Valley are finding a nation involved in a 50-yr multi front war aren’t acknowledging they’ve been bested? “shocked*

"The world economy and the balance of power have been changed, perhaps for many decades to come, because Trump cannot draw links between cause and effect; he does not understand that his actions and the failures that follow are somehow related to each other."

The war in Iran has shown that Trump’s inability to perceive reality has become truly dangerous. Iran is a disaster, but Trump’s irrationality could create other, even more perilous situations. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

The ancestors of today's Iranians have been extraordinarily difficult people for 2500 years. Ask the Romans. Ask the Byzantine Empire. They were difficult in 1979. Yet these dopes picked an unnecessary fight with them, and now they act surprised.

It's weird how when you kill a country's leader and a bunch of school girls on opening night of your war, the survivors become challenging to deal with.

No, the Iranians were reasonable. They value people's word. You don't negotiate, and bomb their nuclear materials facilities while negotiating. While negotiations were underway, the US started the war on February 28th.

Says the noted expert on Persian/Iranian culture. This is what happens when you put amateurs in charge, and they don’t listen to people who actually have relevant knowledge.

Yea, almost as difficult as the Trump Crime Syndicate Regime, of which you are a lifelong cursed member, three-what's his name Vance. Too bad you don't carry your fraud czar con-o-meter into the WH 'cause it would peg red and blow up. You'd never dare aim it at yourself either.

How can you ever trust those imbeciles to do anything right, knowing they started the war for no reason (not the first time it happens I know), but not even realizing the first move would be to close the strait and hurt the economy !

Just like Canada, Denmark, the European Union, Ukraine, Japan and on and on. Any country that doesn’t bend the knee is difficult. We all say no. And we become assholes. Love this for you.

Psychopaths are extraordinarily difficult people. There are many in this regime starting with the chief psychopath who had an orgasm when he laid eyes on Putin setting foot, not just on American soil, but at a military base on our soil. In lieu of smoking a cigarette, he rolled out a red carpet.
