The Department of Homeland Security is funneling $10 billion through the Navy to help facilitate the construction of a sprawling network of migrant detention centers across the US in an arrangement aimed at getting the centers built faster. https://cnn.it/4oDFP9W

well unless these mfs are planning on locking themselves in there for good they can tear that shit right down this instant. I want my taxes to go to schools and solar energy and national parks and medical research and public transportation. what the fuck.

We have consistently deported criminals. trump came in promising to just deport criminals, but quickly found after picking the low hanging fruit (something like 5k criminal immigrants) there were no more. So he went for those with traffic tickets. Then workers with no incidents on record.

#Republicans are complicit of defrauding of the American people, they passed “the big beautiful bill” without any consideration of their constituents. They are directly responsible for the downfall of healthcare in the United States and the pain of the American people. Republicans do your job!!!

Since colonialism, this country has had an appetite for mass incarceration. The business of building immigration detention centers should startle everyone especially as the subject of immigration detention has received comparable, if not greater, media and public focus than jails and prison reform.

NO MORE‼️...WHERE IS OUR 🪖MILITARY🪖⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️...Trump is NOT their Commander-in-Chief‼️...He's an ILLEGITIMATE POTUS & The Military needs to do their job & address this DOMESTIC TERRORISM‼️💥💪💥💪💥 -- N.O.W.‼️

The President and GOP lie (that’s a statement on its own) about undocumented immigrants getting healthcare. They only get emergency services and that figure is estimated between $3-6 billion a year. So DHS is spending $10B for a concentration of camps to house them. 🥴

Miller is really going full steam ahead with this little pet project of his: proving everyone that being Jewish and a full blown Nazi aren’t as mutually exclusive as everyone thought

"Konzentrationslager" translates directly to "concentration camp" in English. It refers to the camps operated by Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945, which were used to imprison and, in many cases, murder political opponents, ethnic minorities, and other groups. *

Violently assaulting/abducting immigrants and indefinitely detaining them in forced labor camps for civil violations is evil. These camps are based on for-profit prison labor camps here in USA…the “detention centers” and “prisons” are all for-profit concentration camps…

They ain't only putting migrants in here @cnn.com LOOK and REPORT THE TRUTH they are concentration camps-they are locking up with NO DUE process #AMERICANCITIZENS HELLO?? Quit NORMALIZING THIS IT AIN"T RIGHT DEMAND NO MORE REPORT WHY ARE THEY KEEP RECIEVING FUNDS while the POOR will end up in these

Trump had me thinking about what factors led to the Holocaust and what could've been done to prevent it. 1. The minority Jewish population in Germany was mostly unarmed. 2. Germans believed deported Jews were being sent to labor camps. 3. Germans were rewarded for telling on their neighbors. (1/3)

How to prevent fascism in America: 1. An armed citizenry is a difficult one to takeover. 2. Our electeds need to demand oversight and be willing to buck the courts that don't agree. 3. Boycott business sympathetic to the regime. 4. Protect your community- create a neighborhood watch for ICE. (2/3)

So corrupt. He tried this shit in his first term and was sometimes stopped. Now all guardrails are gone and the knee-benders in his administration and Congress just let him go on his merry way destroying our country. Thanks, SCOTUS.

Not a single mention in this article that this is against the law. Only Congress has the authority to appropriate funds. Journalistic malpractice.

The US needs more and more concentration camp to be built as well as more and more Gestapo agent to be recruited. And we aren’t facing a fascist government. They have to be ready for the midterms and the martial laws to be invoked and the detention of Americans being detained to opposed the regime.

They are not "migrant detention centers", they are concentration camps. Stop trying to downplay the horrors that are taking place. If you can't speak the truth about what is happening then you are complicit in what is happening.

If they were interested in the worst of the worst these camps would be unnecessary. Instead they will kidnap maids and gardeners and farm and construction laborers because they are the low hanging fruit. They are also pay taxes and are the people necessary to keep the economy going.

LMAO anyone that thinks " migrants " are the reason/need for these concentration camps is blind to history. Those are where anyone that doesn't kiss FOTUS ass hard enough long enough will spend how much life they are given. All of this, ALL of it ,has been done before.

Slavery. Slavery is slowly coming back (it never really left, actually). First migrants, then homegrowns. Everybody who wrote something bad about Trump in here will be branded Antifa and sent to a camp where they will make iPhones or underwear for Victoria's Secret, or farm work if they're brown.

Not the first time: During WWII, the U.S. gvm’t forcibly incarcerated approximately 120,000 people of Japanese descent, two-thirds of whom were U.S. citizens. These individuals were held in 10 main camps, called "War Relocation Centers," established by the WRA. #JapaneseAmericanIncarceration #WWII

The ten War Relocation Centers were located in desolate areas across the interior West and Arkansas. They were: 📍 Manzanar & Tule Lake (CA) 📍 Poston & Gila River (AZ) 📍 Amache/Granada (CO) 📍 Heart Mountain (WY) 📍 Minidoka (ID) 📍 Topaz (UT) 📍 Rohwer & Jerome (AR) #History #NeverForget

In addition to the 10 major WRA camps, thousands of Japanese Americans were temporarily held in Assembly Centers (like racetracks or fairgrounds) before being moved to the WRA centers. Other facilities, run by the Department of Justice, were also used for detention. #USHistory #CivilRights

Many of those interned are still alive. I thought George Takei’s musical “Allegiance” was quite good and should have played longer on Broadway. (Inspired by and starring Takei, music and lyrics by Jay Kuo and book by Marc Acito, Kuo and Lorenzo Thione).

$10 billion in concentration camps to make some contractors (donors) rich at the expense of human lives the GOP deems expendable. Another $10b to date that could have helped citizens with healthcare, feed or treat kids, etc. Don’t ever tell me the GOP are pro life. It’s BS.

Well of course we've already had for profit jails in prisons that the big time conservatives own and cut deals with state and federal law enforcement to send them detainees. But now Black Rock company is making billions as the contractor to a lot of these camps that are starting up. What I read

Or, citizens waking up and making it clear that all this lawless psychotic savagery and destruction of democracy does not represent us. You’re right! It’ll take a miracle.🙏🏼🇺🇸

This article is a joke. Nowhere does CNN mention that this is illegal, and the only source quoted for analysis on it is from the American Enterprise Institute, a right-wing propaganda shop. Using the verbs "funneling" and "leveraging" is a cutesy way of lying to your readers. It's unlawful.

That's their job; to make this seem more like savvy politics, rather than the debasement and degradation of the white American citizen. Conservatives can't ever be trusted with power, and they hope you know it.

Not only that I think it's Trump's friends that own the company Black Rock I think it is? They're the ones that are getting the massive contracts to build these facilities as quickly as they can. The grift has been going on for years man

These are concentration camps. Given the current hateful fascist rhetoric being appended to anyone who opposes Trump, I don’t think there’s a reality where Democrats, journalists, protestors and judges do not end up in one of these camps.

This is the authoritarian playbook. Hitler, Putin and Orban did exactly this. Viktor Orban gave a master classes to CPAC on how to destroy a Democracy from within. Republicans are enemies of the state, enemies to the public.

They're saying these camps will be built for migrants. And in July, they swore the ballroom wouldn't touch the East Wing. Prepare yourselves. They always lie. The camps probably aren't only for imprisoning migrants nor will they be respecting any of our human rights. bsky.app/profile/lora...
