ive talked on how i wont engage with writers who use ai, i wont eat at a restaurant with an ai menu, i wont have anything to do with it. but what this post illustrates is regardless of how OTHERS react, ultimately the worst part about using ai is that you are punishing YOURSELF and dont even know it

It’s true. I’ve seen pictures of this man in the big chair.

I’ve been to a couple of Saddam’s palaces, Mr. President, and they are nowhere NEAR as tacky as the pictures I’ve seen of the current oval Office decor. I think you owe the late President Hussein an apology.

AI disclosures should be mandatory. If your customer doesn't want to consume AI, that's their right as a consumer. You don't get to force them to consume it. That's not how business works. Far smarter for developers not wanting to be tarred with the AI brush to... not use AI?

I don’t usually buy fancy sprayed edges foil unless I’ve read it and want the trophy, but made an exception for Quincy Harker: Year One by John Hartness. It was just too pretty. Best thing I’ve done for my mental health since Cornell Case hit the news. If you are struggling too, highly recommend.

EXCLUSIVE: Pete Hegseth wanted Gen. Dwight Eisenhower’s globe for his office. His staff broke it. The Pentagon denied us access to take photos, but we obtained some anyway. A story in global affairs: wapo.st/3WF2YQo

One is war, one is to try to reconcile, one is when you're trying to persuade your wife to stay with you. Where does other religions say it's permissible to lie? Extreme Islam is dangerous"

Ten years ago today. In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine...

I need to rant about this more. There are entire lines of clothes with pullover shirts and elastic pants for aging people to wear after a certain age because putting on complicated things requires mobility and dexterity that you begin to lose. No one should be required to wear a bra EVER.

THEY CAN DEMAND AN 80 YEAR OLD WEAR A BRA? It's none of their business!

This is such important work, and the thing to keep in mind is that when AI people tell you that games will be personalized for you, this is the kind of thing they are more likely to mean.

Morgan Johnson@poormojo.bsky.social

No joke. I think this is the most important video I have ever seen about mobile games. This guy breaks down how this game psychologically profiles you, and makes the game harder or easier in order to show you ads

Trump's plan to disrupt the election is already underway, with troops standing menacingly at a DC ballot drop box. Under 18 U.S. Code § 592, it is illegal for armed troops to be "at any place where a general or special election is held," yet there they are.
