I’m a young woman and I get scared when I’m in a city or an area with high nightlife. The last thing I want to happen is to get filmed without my consent and uploaded for millions of people to see and leave hateful comments.

You should never be scared to be around people. But I am in favor of us legally having right to smash any of these glasses if they are taping us.

Ugh, I mean OF COURSE bc why would it lead to constructive criticism that could lead to the guy realizing he needs to pay attention to the actual person they are trying to pick up

Those glasses are nothing more than a information collection device. It will tailor to all your needs not for the good . You have to be a new level of moron to put them on your face ! Mark Zuckerberg works for the american government. He is a Trump supporter . Billionaires taking your future and 💵

You mean the man who started his "career" as a wealthy creep by creating a stalker website called "Facemash" to rate and track women around campus, who dropped-out due to that stalkery "success" and barely changed the name to "Facebook" paid engineers to create a new tool to stalk women with? Nooo.🙄

fortune.comMark Zuckerberg says the 'most important thing' he built at Harvard was a prank website: 'Without Facemash I wouldn't have met Priscilla' | Fortune"I’m going to get kicked out in three days, so we need to go on a date quickly," Zuckerberg told Priscilla Chan at the time.

Each women involved needs to sue, and the company that makes the glasses should be compelled to release the footage and ID information related to the user and the victim to the police.

Absolutely gross. Forget that it's skeezy, gross and embarrassing that you think your lines are record worthy, but we are currently uncovering half the ruling class are pedos. Read the room.

I think we should make it that any woman who does not want to/has not opted in to being filmed can legally rip off and smash their glasses.

It’s sexual harassment, call it what it is. Laws and judges are inadequate for analog sexual harassment, adding a digital layer will not be better. If you ask 10 women over 20,10 have been sexually harassed. If you don’t believe it, then ask your mother, sister, or wife. It’s disgusting.

Additionally it has nothing to do with "attractiveness" ... if she's pretty, they'll blame her for being pretty/dressing up. If she's not attractive they'll pick on those factors and expect her to "be grateful for the attention". It's a hot mess.

I guess they foresaw & chose to ignore it. Somebody must have run the numbers and come up with X. Then they ran the numbers and estimated the cost of lost business in Y - how many clients would they lose when doing this? If X > Y, they do it. Maybe somebody even got a nice bonus.

I've hated them for years because scammers used to spam text me with phishing links advertising them. At that point it wasn't even the company's fault, since it was malicious third parties, but it didn't help me remember the brand fondly at all.
