if you have a @github.com profile, can i ask you to update it with your @bsky.app handle? ๐ ๐ it enables some very cool integrations, like auto curated feeds and starter packs for contributors and tech

it works! bsky.app/profile/brad...
Quick how-to for this: In your own bsky profile, click the three dots next to edit profile, click share. Then in your GitHub profile, click edit profile, and paste it in one of the links inputs. Mine is: bsky.app/profile/brad...
did it github.com/alxfed. How about letting the github.io hosted subdomains/blogs be a bluesky identifier?
i think it works! bsky.app/profile/nico...
Developers, do you want to verify yourself here but don't have a personal domain? You can use your GitHub account! ๐ฆ๐ฑ I temporarily renamed myself to @nicolo-ribaudo.github.io :)
@danielroe.dev ok done, and I love that it added the correct icon! Now where am I supposed to find these integrations?
TIL that github.com/profile is the profile page for a user whose handle is "profile" ๐คฃ
Just updated. github.com/tcurdt Is there already some integration to play with?
give this a go to start with! bsky.app/profile/dani...
pretty sure thatโs also part of how this cool labeler works too bsky.app/profile/gith...
also check out bsky.app/profile/horu...
Over the last few days, I built a feed for Bluesky! ๐ After contributing to the @bsky.app repo for the first time, I thought it would be great to have a feed with all contributors in Bluesky. Want to show up in the feed? Contribute to Bluesky! Here it is ๐
fwiw its actually probably better to link to your actual DID so that it still resolves if your username changes! see github.com/uncenter for example
I'm currently working on a Feed that relies on this. I'll make the code open-source in a few hours. It compiles the list of Bluesky Contributors and saves the DIDs locally so that it can filter the Firehose, store their posts, and offer them through a feed. Works great! bsky.app/profile/horu...
this is something weโre starting to do with nuxt modules: github.com/nuxt/modules... but iโm hoping we can do more, like creating a magic feed of everyone whoโs ever contributed to @nuxt.com โฆ โจ
Is this needed if my own (mentioned on my GitHub profile) domain is also my bsky identity, and even has "bsky" ALIAS setupto redirect.bsky.app? @bradgeesaman.com
it does, though itโs fairly recent - added at the end of october! bsky.app/profile/robs...
Looks like I got around to this without even remembering: github.com/Two9A
Done. But Iโm not sure I follow: Where are these integrations enabled? On the @bsky.app ?
itโs more that people can start building then - for example this one: bsky.app/profile/dani...
