AG Todd Blanche (who spoke at the convention and heard the bribe being proffered) will open a DOJ investigation. The case will be heard and dismissed by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, citing, SCOTUS that the speech was protected and part of an “official act”.

This is what bothers me too. No consequences. Here in Misery, the state SCOTUS is going to hold the election commissioner in contempt for directing the state to use an invalid gerrymandered map. At least they are holding a law breaker accountable. We need to see more of this.
