this wont ever happen. grandpa shitzinpants doesnt have the authority to do so, so matter how much he rambles and every one of his pardons would be nullified and they all knows this, so they wont let this happen

What about those that Biden de-facto pardoned? Thread: bsky.app/profile/idio...

Oh you liked that, huh? Here's another belated crowd pleaser: Merrick #Garland was pitched to Trump as #FBI director by *Mitch #McConnell.* Appointing him AG and leaving Wray in office after #Jan6 was Biden's way of pardoning ALL the Jan 6 ringleaders. Not ONE of whom has been held to account.

Real Michael Scott energy from this guy He’s obviously not thought through (as usual) the repercussions If you can invalidate Biden’s pardons, what’s to stop the next POTUS from invalidating yours, Donny? An entire admin that doesn’t think more than a day ahead

The funny thing here is that ALL of Piggy's pardons (and EOs and bills signed into laws) are invalid because he's an invalid president according to the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. So there's that when it comes to his alleged presidential immunity too.

He wants to purposely lose this argument in the courts so then he can tell his minions that HIS pardons are solid and as long as they do what he says, they will get a pardon.

So do the people that Biden pardoned preemptively have to wait until they are indicted to challenge trump’s proclamation in court?

He and his administration are nothing but chaos, corruption, and destruction. I really hope 2028 sends this dangerous lunacy and cruelty back to the shadows where they belong, preferably in prison.

Since Reagan, the GOP keeps demonstrating that they can make literally ANYONE president, no matter how intellectually disinterested, malleable, stupid, old, criminal, corrupt or demented. This one is blowing up badly for them…

Kicked in the head by a mule and never knew how to read. Looking forward to his very obvious demise, probably during a live cabinet meeting praising him for his intellect and endlessly energetic personality until he's already been dead for like 15-20 minutes.

I’m so tired of the MAGA saying Biden was asleep on the beach…why yes, he was. That was on the weekends and his relaxation time. Trump is falling asleep during important meetings, including his own cabinet meetings. Where’s the media on this?

Of course he can we have no rule of law. Republicans have decided the Constitution is not valid and Dems has sent strongly worded letters sometimes, and never fill judgeships like rep. The only ones fighting for Democracy are Marc and his team. Vote Vets, Lawdork, and a few other wonderful humans.

He doesn't get that if this were upheld, then any President after him could revoke HIS pardons as well. Then again, if he can summarily kill anyone he doesn't like, so could the next President. Oopsies!

If there was ever a group of pardons which should be revoked, it's all the disgusting ones that Trump has made. He's released more criminals back onto the streets than the parole system.

wtf is this nonsense, if there is “no legal mechanism for presidents to revoke…” how tf do you propose this causes “legal chaos”? There’s no mechanism, right there in the header folks.

There is no legal mechanism for one president to “undo” or “do over” another past president’s pardons. It simply isn’t a thing, whether it’s a real signature, auto pen, or an “X”.

@democracydocket.com If Trump insists he can just void Biden’s pardons, it opens a huge can of worms about what happens to *his* own. We’re asking people how a future administration should handle Trump’s most controversial pardons — accept them, review them, or try to unwind them. Poll below. 👇

1️⃣ Leave them in place but tighten rules to prevent future abuse 2️⃣ Review them case by case and try to reverse the worst abuses 3️⃣ Treat pardons tied to corruption or war crimes as illegitimate and work to unwind them Vote! No register needed 📊

Not his problem. I did think not being able to sell pardons anymore, would stop him from doing this, so this could be a sign that he won't be able to follow through on new pardons for some reason. Not getting my hopes up, though.

There is a very specific set of people to blame. The GOP brags they win because they keep 53 million people from voting through bureaucratic nonsense. This crisis did not happen by chance. Its creators are known. You can blame the people who directly claim responsibility for doing this to us.

You're right. Trump the tool of Putin is just trying to scatter more chaos to undermine the system. He's in self preservation mode. Though, in a leap, there's also resemblance to the Robert Graves books. He's done "I Trump" and is now into "Trump the God". Where his word changes reality. Insane.

So smarmy Micro Johnson looking on with your smug smile, what are they going to do? Go out and arrest everyone who got a pardon and put them back in jail? Can anyone think of a stupider idea?

I don’t see a legal rationale, outside the S C, why his own pardons couldn’t be challenged right now if the revocation of pardons were taken seriously. He’s opening up a can of worms and he’s too stupid to realize it.

Let him cook. When democrats take back the White House invalidate all his pardons as well. It’s all about the numbers right? Let’s see. Biden pardoned maybe 50? 100? Trump pardoned thousands. All criminals.

BOY TOY just stands there and stupidly grins! 😠 2547 - AMERICA IS BURNING DOWN TO THE GROUND FOLKS. WHEN ARE YA GONNA WAKE UP? THIS ISN'T A FANTASY. THERE IS NO BRIGHT SUNNY DAY TOMORROW. THIS IS THE KIND OF WORLD YOU WANT TO LEAVE YOUR KIDS? SWASTIKAS & GOOSESTEP.😔 GERMANY THE SEQUEL 1933

If there is no legal mechanism to do it, then they will, by definition, be thrown into *illegal* chaos. And by "if Trump is taken seriously," you presumably mean "if cops and prisons decide to ignore the law." That could happen, as they already routinely do, but you should describe it accurately.

The president's pardons are absolute based on the powers given the executive in Article II. (He likes using Article II to justify everything he does.) So this won't stand up in court, but it could cause a lot of trouble for the pardoned. The lower courts will follow the Constitution and SCOTUS ...

Epstein! FFS! Do we have ADD as a nation? Yes, this deserves scrutiny but it is all about clearing Trump of, running out the clock on, pedophilia-adjacent, at best!

Remember when Biden and his admin were cowards and let the mountains of evidence of corruption, greed, TREASON, and oh, yeah, pedophilia, go unpunished and for Trump to even run again? Future admins need to hold ALL of these administrations accountable. For what they're doing and how we got here.
