1) Putin doesn't have diesel to spare. 2) Diesel is cover for lifting sanctions. 3) Putin's statement sounds like he's offering an Iran escape hatch, which I've been predicting. 4) Half of the MASSIVE bribes Putin is offering now don't exist. 5) But he does mention security coop -- Kash.

It's tough to wrap your head around the idea of giving Putin a gift by paying for diesel, since it won't lower prices in the U.S. Where is moral value? Strategy to sway short-sighted voters for Republicans. Democrats are not better; electing Muslim during a war with Iran? Betrayal? #3 party needed.

It is a scam where there is no shortage of any hydrocarbons anywhere in the world but Russia There will NEVER be a deal with the Iranian regime. Negotiations and promises of sanctions relief cannot normalize a government that continues to use executions, repression, and fear to maintain power.

The international financial system will keep its sanctions architecture and asset restrictions in place until a new government is formed from the self-determination of the Iranian people.

Likely Trump/Putin knows / they never planned to send/receive any oil, but Trump would pay $$ to Putin to help Putin save RU's cratering economy. Remember: Trump is an RU asset.

I mean yes, but giving the amount in tons is to obfuscate how much that actually is. It's a literal drop in the bucket. Putin is scamming Trump or both of them are scamming the rest of us. Either way it's pathetic.

Let’s see. The Russians are scratching bottom for fuel. Kissing ass to western nations bypassing sanctions. He has fuck all to offer other than GET THE FUCK OUT OF UKRAINE. Just saying

"Putin doesn't have diesel to spare." Was just saying that elsewhere. I'm betting he'll still sell it, making conditions within Russia worse, and keep blaming it on Ukraine. (yay Ukraine)

The amount won't even cover one day's consumption in the US. bsky.app/profile/empt...

I think you're mistaken. Russia's only export is gas. And they haven't been able to export it to anyone for several years because of sanctions. They can use the profits from our money to buy drones from Iran to bomb Ukraine. It's a simple win win for Putin.

The daughter of Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, works for a US lobbying firm with a $35K-a-month contract to represent Republika Srpska. Here she is with its interior minister, a figure aligned with the pro-Russian government. www.cbsnews.com/news/russia-...

The head of the Trump crime family made a deal with Putin-Kremlin crime syndicate – betraying Ukraine, every U.S. ally and his duty to defend American national security. Trump is a filthy traitor – the worst Quisling who has ever lived.

It's also another way for the corrupt US Regime to blame Ukraine for the energy crisis (hitting Russian refineries) that was actually caused by the US attacking Iran (strait closed).

Just yesterday the (price of) RU diesel was pushing the market price up. That implies it was/is priced higher than other sources. I will bet it turns out the dyed diesel as already being used otr

6) it's gonna happen just like the $5,000 checks will 7) even if it did happen, it would be a drop in the bucket:

300k tons is ~2.2m barrels, give or take. russia typically (pre ukraine exploding the refineries) exported ~1-1.1m barrels per day. excellent work president deals

Putin doesn’t need to actually have or provide the fuel, for Trump saying this, to be a win for him. And Trump will never know hes getting dunked on because he’s an imbecile who is happy as long as funds are flowing into he and his family’s pockets.

Confused about this & would love to to hear your comments:

NEW EXCLUSIVE: I’ve spent months reporting on the campaign within the FBI to urge senior leadership to cancel Patel’s trip to Russia before the midterms. Current & former FBI officials told me their many efforts to pass apprehensions up the chain went unanswered www.theatlantic.com/national-sec...

Diesel was never the ask. He needs sanctions lifted to keep the war economy running, and the offer is priced to sound generous while costing him nothing he actually has. Kash in the room shows the real trade is security for relief.

I’m telling you we won’t see a drop of diesel from Putin he doesn’t even have enough for his country much less ours watch 🙄💙🗳️✊🏻✌🏻

Just like “adoption” was when Don Jr, Jared and the rest entertained Russians seeking sanctions in Trump Tower in 2016. Trump has “corresponding obligations” to Putin among other despots

I'd say there's a numerator denominator problem, too. 300K tons sounds like a lot into you look into daily usage. Additionally, even if Putin had the diesel, where was it headed before it was 'given' to the US. MO of Trump: splashy news, grab the headline, most people won't read or hear the analysis

Putin must be desperate.. this "deal" can't be helping him, domestically.. all those drivers waiting in line, learning their gas got shipped abroad, might drive them angry, you'd think 🤔
