. This fake news, brought to us by Hamas, Hezbollah and their Iranian masters, is designed to demonize Jews. And obviously, it's working. Meanwhile, Never Again is Now. Deal with it. And stop supporting the perpetrators of the Oct 7th massacre. #amchaiyisrael

Wow No idea Think its was them that I did this on Long Island years ago Months later I get notice from NYC that i’ve got 7 parking violations in Brooklyn Seems the gave car to someone but never re registered car. I was last known owner so I got ticket notice Disputed by sending their receipt

I already hate those ads for their incredibly annoying earworm music. Now I hate the organization they’re advertising.

Ok sometimes all you can do is laugh. We’ve always driven our cars to extinction & donated at least one to this organization maybe 15-20 years ago. I really did believe this group funded economically disadvantaged kids at the time, certainly not cultish matchmaking services! Oy vey!

I don’t know the case facts but I think bashing any specific group is a bad idea and if something helps kids learn or experience their own cultural pride I don’t care what color or religion they are. Maybe run with the idea “cars for Muslims” Cars for “Buddha ” or in my case “cars for atheists”

You can’t trust the truth from anyone nor any organization in this country. Hell, we don’t even get the truth from the idiot president & his lap dogs. Trust in America has eroded…we’ve become a country of deceit, lies & lawlessness. Trump sure brought the bar down on decency. Who let the trash in?

This commercial always bugged me as a kid because they weren't actually playing the instruments and they were doing a very very bad job of trying to convince you they were. Now it bugs me because I'm extra woke and that's okay

At the time my line was, " well, at least as a Canadian, I know some Jewish kid got to go to a camp in upper New York to get mentorship and learn how to play an instrument" Now I'm not sure that even happened But I'm guessing the originator has a very big house. This is a wild guess

I had read the money went toward helping disabled and special needs Hasidic children in Kiryas Joel, NY. Apparently there are a lot of them, and they don’t go to secular public schools.

I didn’t know this. Good to know. But by the same token, Salvation Army is deeply Christian, & pushes their agenda. I won’t give to any charity that is religion-based. Help shouldn’t have anything to do with religion. Charities should give based on humanity, doing the right thing.

It’s too late for us grownups in CA. That soul-crushing ditty is seared into our brain cells. I think they may have gotten the proceeds of a van I totaled years ago. 😡 More troubling: In the years since this this tv ad first aired, this kind of grift has become a national pastime.

Their jingle is often cited as especially obnoxiously catchy. I had never heard it until recently, and I was told "it's probably because you don't listen to right-wing talk radio". (Which i don't.) But it all makes sense now.

I watched the 700 Club as a kid, and I remember being really confused that they had commercials asking people to donate money to send Jewish people on pilgrimages to Jerusalem. All the other commercials were Christian-themed.

There must be a successful subliminal message for somebody cause nothing gets me to the mute button or turning the channel faster than that irritating jingle/chorus.

Watch the Court of Koch overturn this ruling. The freaks at the Court of Koch have ruled against every political advertising restriction effort in California up to and including a law voted on by the people that banned out of state monies spent on ballot proposals, taxes, laws.

So it's a lie and all they did was ban just the ads?! How about dismantling the company and throwing the CEO in jail?! Oh, that's just too much justice, it seems these days. I'm willing to bet the judge was called antisemitic for having the audacity to go against a jew-run company.

They need to stop this organization everywhere, and not just the commercial. Tons of charity money is being redirected from where it is supposed to go. We need to stop all the fraudulent activity going on under the guise of charity.

To be fair, the OP's Substack article cited this source along with several others. While it's tone is a bit edgy, the topic is well-covered and thoughtful. Worth a read (5 mins, maybe).

Long known (since mid-2010s at latest) this was a sham charity. And those ads are one big reason a radio can't be left unsupervised and unattended. Fortunately through vigilance on my part (not trying to brag) I've never once been subject to more than a couple seconds of one of those ads

Holy moly guacamole… I didn’t know! On this time of age, you can’t even trust a non-profit organization for a good cause. Definitely all non-profit organizations need to be crystal clear about their mission, intentions and where the money is going, with a proof piece of paper or evidence.

Frankly, they couldn't have been more obviously a scam if they'd flashed the word "scam" across the screen for the entirety of the ad. Anyone who donated to this should probably let someone else make their financial decisions for them.

Low production values, appeal to an emotional response (who doesn't want to help kids?) without any kind of explanation of how the "charity" worked, just a lot of little red flags. Gave off a whole "windowless van" vibe to me.

Yes, those ads were typical of the schlock on TV when they aired. The longevity of the campaign is what I find incredible. Meanwhile, local #NPR stations all over the country are running vehicle donation programs which benefit the stations & offer tax deductions as well. Where are those kids now? 🤔

Thanks for this info.Found this online: Legit charities like Vehicles For Veterans, Wheels For Wishes, and Animal Car Donation have IRS-certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Assures organization meets federal standards for charitable entities, offering you peace of mind along with tax benefits.

My son watches a guitarist on YouTube who made videos a few years back trashing them for the fake instrument playing. Then recently they asked him to collab and redo the commercial with actual student musicians. It makes sense why they're trying an image overhaul now!

How's that any different from any other religion and parochial schools? Is it because it's Orthodox Jews? Sure they should have said this is for the Orthodox Jewish federation, but not admonished.

Ihave only heard the radio ads, and conclude with the tag that you got a 2-night stay at one of 50 places, but never mention any of them. Yes, it sounds very (dead) fishy to me.

I hope white people wake up before it is too late. Oh wait. It's already too late. My bad. Welp. We don't feel bad. We warned them. Move along. Watching white people destroy white people is kinda soothing to black souls. Nothing to see here. Sorry. Not sorry. Have a nice white day, maggots. 🙃🙏

Not entirely true. Uses money to promote conversions of secular Jews to Orthodox Judaism and Orthodox lifestyles, especially young adults. Jews don't proselytize or try to convert gentiles or non-believing Muslims or Christians. Probably be an investigation.

The deceptiveness of the commercials is undeniable and they deserved to be banned. But your language is anti-Semitic. If the money went to Christian causes, I bet you would NOT be talking about "conservative Christian propaganda and matchmaking services."
