this happens to me with refills. any kind of refill of any substance or nature.

I just bought my third pair of hand pruners. I know the other two are somewhere in my garage or basement, but damned if I could find them.

Same thing happened to me.

Always windex specifically. Every other cleaner I can find.

I found one of the four I currently have tucked in the pouch behind the seat of my wife's van. I had put it there for a road trip. Also found another one in the back of the same van, put there for a different road trip...

I have, conservatively, at least 60 fingernail clippers somewhere, giving I haven't moved in 20 years and have never clipped my nails anywhere other than home.

Mine’s from Costco, it randomly appears and since I can never find it, it is like a years worth

The rule is that you first have to buy a new one then wait three days for the former one to decide to make an appearance again.

Do you have a middle schooler by chance? Based on experience there is a 50%* or more chance that anything missing--or labeled "cleaner"--is in their room or getting rid of evidence on carpet bc "it says CLEANER see??" *This goes up to 99.9% if the thing you are looking for qualifies as "dishes".

Windex is no longer where it’s at for me. I have discovered distilled water mixed with white vinegar. No streaks!

i had the similar issue of my squeegee disappeared recently, which sucks because i do not have squeegee replacing money right now

To find it, buy another bottle, clean your windows, and then put it away in a spot that you won't forget. You'll find the old bottle only then.

Then you find it leaning against the wall at the back of the refrigerator when you move out

unintended side effect -- if you leave windex in a plastic bottle, eventually the bottle picks up the same streak-free shine -- even the handle if you can believe it! Try looking for strange blue-tinted areas of light refraction

I found the best way to fix this problem is to be like me and finally just keep every bottle of everything in the same place. So now I have the table with four different Febrezes on it so I never think I need Febreze again

I know right??? It's right where it's supposed to be most of the time, BUT AS SOON AS I get thirsty I can never find the fucking Windex

bro I have like 5 entire bottles of Windex (SPECIFICALLY WINDEX) that disappear into the void for weeks on end before reappearing like in the middle of the coffee table
