You donโ€™t have to wear yellow. Show up in whatever you want. No way everyone will be wearing yellow. I will not. I am not going out and buying yellow clothes ๐Ÿ™„

Very bad idea. I'm a marshal in our march. A deescalator. I will be wearing my florescent yellow vest so that I stand out, visible from a distance in case of an emergency. There are 9 others wearing similar vests. We need to be noticeable, to stand out, not to blend in. Cowardice is yellow.

Where's here? I'm in Waterville, ME. I'm hoping, as well as others, that we get at least 1000 people. We had roughly 700 at No Kings 1. Some people are finally waking up.

Instead of this - please get some online radio station we can all tune into that posts songs all day that we can dance to until we get tired. I mean, we all can tune into so that the music can go from more than one place/Phone? Is that possible?

This is dumb. No one owns yellow clothes. Therefore, you are demanding that people buy something. How much money do you want to put into Bezo's pocket?

Throughout history, people have protested authoritarian governments with a unifying color to symbolize their peaceful resistance. Our movement is no different. Yellow is a bright, unmistakable reminder that millions of us stand together in the belief that America belongs to its people โ€” not kings.

2. Although yellow was indeed used by the pro-democracy movement in the Philippines back in the 1980's, that's now 40-year-old history. A much more recent use of yellow by a movement is to represent the PRO-coup, PRO-monarchy forces in Thailand. Ref: www.bbc.com/news/world-a... #NoKings #NoYellow

bbc.comProfile: Thailand's reds and yellowsThe BBC looks at the two opposing camps that usually drive protests in Thailand - the red-shirts and the yellow-shirts.

I see lots of complaining/resistance to this. Nobody's MAKING you wear yellow. Do you have any idea how hard it is to come to a consensus on things like this? If they decided on yellow, yellow it is. Appreciate their amazing organizing efforts. We can't be divided over silly things. Just show up.

Wear it!! I'm in Portland and I very much appreciate the support. I think I'll look for one (frog green hat) as well. I don't own anything yellow, and it won't matter because it's October and I'll be wearing a coat. That won't be yellow.

Love all of indivisible's amazing work, except for instructing us to wear yellow with 4 days notice. Yellow is the least likely color to be in everyone's closet. Yikes.

Uhโ€ฆ we sell protest tees. You know how many we offer in yellow? Zero. Not a popular shirt color. Not something thatโ€™s probably already hanging in most closets. Just wear *clothes* (bonus if itโ€™s under an inflatable frog costume) and show up. #resist

Too late. I already have my outfit. My T-shirt shows the Statue of Liberty holding a RESIST sign. And I have a ballcap that says, "Make lying wrong again." Props to the people who wear inflatable cartoon costumes but I'm too old to pull that off.

I own no yellow. Announcing this a few days prior is tone deaf and will frustrate well-meaning people with some last minute messaging. See ya Saturday in red, white and blue.

Ya know, you make this โ€˜wear yellowโ€™ proclamation with no reason why yellow, people raise valid points about the significance of the color, and โ€ฆ. crickets. The valid point is that itโ€™s associated with cowardice so WHY set ourselves up and shoot ourselves in the foot like that.

I will be wearing yellow and posting a sign in my window at home. Iโ€™m not able to march but I can pray and I will be doing that during the entire March. Love and Peace to all.

Geez. Folks, it's a suggestion, not a rule. Some of you here sound like you're being forced into tight, scratchy church clothes on a hot Sunday morning. Let it go. And lighten up. Wear what you want, and remember what the whole point is.

Get a high-vis vest. Yellow has been a global staple color for protests for the last 20 years ago. It's widely used in Europe - especially France - and in Canada. The high-vis is meant to draw attention. It works.

The call to wear yellow came too late. A lot of people will be in cold and/or rainy weather and will need to wear what they have to stay warm and dry. This may actually DISCOURAGE people from attending because they donโ€™t have anything yellow to wear!

I don't own a yellow shirt. My partner doesn't own a yellow shirt. Neither of my sons owns a yellow shirt. Can anyone answer the question why yellow? It's clearly the least popular clothing color.

Why??? I do not have anything yellow among my clothing, I do not look good in yellow. I cannot afford new clothes right now. I will be wearing Black!
