This is absolutely asinine. Removing this exhibit does nothing to eliminate the socioeconomic disparities created by slavery, Jim Crow, mass incarceration, housing discrimination, redlining and many other issues. This whitewashing of history does nothing to help America confront its evil past.

This would be a great time to donate (or just visit) the African American Museum in Phila and the National Constitution Center. Municipally (AAMP) and privately (AAMP and NCC) funded, not beholden to a federal administration, and a history of direct, unflinching exhibits.
