I recently dug mine out when doing a clearout. Was thinking of trading it in at CEX but re-thinking that now; I bought a PS Vita to "replace" it but never played it nearly as much.

This is one of the best handheld consoles of all time, if not the best, unkillable in spirit, perfect in feel, still plays like a charm, dont forget about y'all's PSPs.

Yeah, pretty good. I only worked for them for a short time doing marketing work. I got corporate tickets to a couple of Champions Leauge matches, they booked out a theme park for us, and most importantly the work was interesting.

Imo the best handheld of its time. I remember watching same movie at bus from it, traveling to my dad's place or other way around. It was light, fits to hands and everything is reachable. Would love to soemthing similar in modern times 😁

Great system but Sony completely assed up its run. This thing had the ability to play PS 1 games and some PS 2 games and many other systems. It was able to remote play ps1 games, psp games and movies from ps3. Even thru wifi long distance. Sony completely fucked not marketing this or capitalizing it

Maaaaan, I really hope that the Xbox handheld is a real thing on the way, so that Sony is forced to respond with a new PSP. Both PSP and Vita were awesome pieces of tech, especially the PSP. That screen still looks good to this day, impressive.

Ah, the PSP. I've been trying to find one recently to add to my collection for nostalgic reasons. I miss these small entertainment devices. It's very convenient when you're out and not anywhere near a TV to play on the PS2.

Loved playing Syphon Filter games in that handheld which I bought with my first employee salary. This brings back so many memories

this was my first "cell phone" i grew up pretty poor, and AIM used to let you text phone numbers. Using the PSP's wifi, and a AIM for psp - it was the closest thing i had to cellphone before 21

This is undoubtedly a 'it depends on your area' question, but is there a somewhat reliable place to take batteries for disposal in the US?
