CFPB operated at a profit, now little rocket boy & king T both want to have some scammy pay day loan type businesses so they dismantled it. The complicit red crypt keepers of senate are deciding working class should pay more.

Time and again we see the root of evil is clearly seated in the the U.S. Senate. From confirming abominable cabinet heads to approving consumer harming rules. This group is not only cowardly, they are dangerous Come re-election time, remember who it is that’s intent on screwing you. #Republicans!

I bet if you surveyed Americans, 99% would say banks are making enough money as it is thank you. People who vote for these kinds of bills need to be punished at the polls or they will continue to do these kinds of things.

Public Citizen co-pres, Robert Weissman says, "Congress will get more bold when they see we [the people] are getting more bold." Remember--nonviolent protests engaging 3.5% of the population have always brought about about change. April 5 is our 1st big chance! handsoff2025.com?SQF_SOURCE=i...

ALL SENATE REPUBLICANS (less Josh Hawley) bsky.app/profile/nyti...

The Senate voted Thursday to strike down a rule capping most bank overdraft fees at $5, a measure adopted late last year by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that had been expected to save Americans billions of dollars per year.

The trump administration screwed the people of this country once again… ensure the MAGA know they did it again… Faux News won’t cover it…..

Oh thank God, I’ve been nostalgic for that time in high school I accidentally overdrafted buying lunch and got hit with $70 in fees. Can you imagine if it were only $10? The horror!

Bsky strong! Standing together to get our country back! If 11 million Americans show up on April 5th, that’s 3.5% of our population. History shows when 3.5% peacefully protest, change has a good chance! Let’s do this!

Americans are being screwed by their government every single day. Often multiple times per day. Without them, or judges, having a say about it. They're being ignored, because Trump and henchmen don't care a f*ck about them.

But those grifters are not lifting ONE FINGER to protect citizens from doge. It’s so sad and scary that republican voters are co-signing all this crap. Don’t they use banks too??? They really care about “bread-and-butter issue”? Bull!!!

Then they deport undocumented immigrants who contribute significantly to the US economy, paying billions in taxes and contribute to various industries, with estimates suggesting they paid nearly $100 billion in taxes. Then complain about inefficiencies and lack of financial resources.

In Germany, when you open a primary bank account, you're usually given a line of credit to cover payments even when the balance isn't enough. You then just pay an interest fee on the loaned amount for the time until it's covered. It usually ends up costing only a few cents.

Of COURSE the Rs did! THEY are truly the party of the common citizen, protecting them against the ravaging & raving wealthy - who own banks, for example.... One thing the Rs could do that would improve on this would be to lower taxes on the uber high-income earners. Fingers crossed!

Hey Florida remember this and the attacks on your Social Security and Medicare when you vote on April 1st. For once, vote in your own best interest and vote for the 2 Democratic candidates!

President Biden limited bank overdraft fees to $5. Saving working Americans a nice chunk of their paychecks. "But nobody feels it," the corporate media told us. & now. Trump takes the fee cap back off, so that Banks can f*ck us over again. Are we "Great" yet?

Have the billionaires no shame putting the squeeze on hardworking folks? I am increasing donations to food banks since in this country NO CHILD should go to bed hungry.

Does that mean you'll actually act as a new source and fight back oligarchy with the truth or are you going to give unfettered access to any fascist wannabe to spew lies with no resistance? It's getting dire out here

“Members of Congress should side with voters who are struggling with high prices, not Wells Fargo, Chase and other big banks that reap billions in profits from hidden fees on people trying to make ends meet.” Republicans work for their donors. Not their constituents.
