This situation reminds me of the number of people who shoot themselves by failing to respect their firearms. Kirk thought he was weaponising guns against people who disagreed with him. You don't mess with lethal weapons. He encouraged them into angry peoples hands. While telling them to be mad.

2of 2 My husband and other First Responders were at Columbine directing kids to safety at the back of the school. When Heston pulled that stunt we realized people will never give up their guns, still haven’t, no matter who gets killed. Kirk’s Rhetoric just denied his family a father and husband.
