@norgg.org hello!

@josephmansfield.uk Hey! Haven't spoken to you in years but I just realised that Thinky Games is your project and wanted to let you know that I think it's brilliant! I try to play through deduction games every year for a charity livestream and spent a few days reading reviews there to pick a game.

Going live again for a little bit at twitch.tv/cheesethieves to try to get further in The Incident At Galley House and raise some more money for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, despite JustGiving’s live stream widgets being broken!

3.5 hours into the stream with Aaron, and after some ridiculously generous donations we are close to reaching our £3.7k target, which will mean we have raised over £50,000 for the charity since 2019! Currently playing Duck Detective.

My fundraising stream is live now at twitch.tv/cheesethieves - playing video games all day to raise money for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity. I’ll be playing puzzle and deduction games, come watch! Donate at justgiving.com/page/teamche...

It's time for our yearly charity fundraiser for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity yet again! Please check out justgiving.com/page/teamche... and donate to this amazing cause that changes the lives of families. I'll be streaming at twitch.tv/cheesethieves all day Thursday 1st Oct

@mattgemmell.bsky.social hey Matt, randomly stumbled onto one of your old woodworking YouTube videos and thought “hey hold on I know this guy!”. It’s been a long time, hope you and the family are doing well.

Just about to start playing The Roottrees are Dead. Excited about this one! Come help me

It’s day two of our livestream fundraiser for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity! I’ll be live at 9am on twitch.tv/cheesethieves until 5pm. I’ll play some mystery and puzzle games. Come join me, and if you can donate at cheesethieves.co.uk

We’re live and starting the charity fundraiser now with @domipheus.bsky.social streaming Eriksholm over on twitch.tv/cheesethieves - come join us, and donate at cheesethieves.co.uk

I love "Roomba discovers that their entire kingdom is but a fraction of the world" stories but I hope Roomba doesn't resent us too much when the robopocalypse comes

Today I found myself at a bit of a loose end and wrote for the first time in what seems like forever. I wrote some of the questions I ask myself about AI, learning, and testing. Have a read: aah.run/testingandai...

The Scottish have won the AI Wars.

Monkey Island 2 remains one of the most beautiful games ever created.

My favourite episode is the one where Poirot gets a shoulder-mounted cannon.

looking back, AOL had it right. 30 hours of internet per month was the right amount.

I can assure you that while this thread seems unbelievable to you, it is something that every senior engineer has sat thru at least twice. Once when they were the incredulous junior who "doesn't understand why it needs to be so complex", and once as a senior eng explaining, why in fact, it does.

I was driving behind a car which had a sticker on the back with the Paul Walker “if one day the speed kills me” quote. I didn’t recognise it so invoked Siri and asked about it. Siri’s reply? “Calling emergency services in 3..2..” talk about speed - I don’t think I’ve ever hit a cancel button so fast

“Oh, did a sportsball happen?” I whisper smugly from my vantage point on a distant cliff, the sounds of celebration in the village far below just barely audible over the lonely wind whipping my tattered cloak

I think about this tweet constantly

New train designs: boring, smooth people tubes Old train designs: hard-faced utilitarian rail bastards

One of the bsky people that the tool marked as a potential follow from the other place wasn't the right person, but sounded great, so they got a follow too!

Thanks to kind followers I tried out this tools and it literally found over a thousand accounts on bsky that looks like they might have migrated over. Working my way through them now. Hello everyone!

Ooh. I see some I know from that other site followed me here, I wonder if there’s a new tool for finding people. Maybe I should be posting here now?
