I am thrilled that DOJ is indicting Raul Castro. Fidel was such a sleazeball dictator that he made it illegal for the Cuban government to audit him or his family.

The whole GOP talks like this and it's cult-speak. It doesn't even work on its own logic: if hydrocarbons are so precious and lack replacements, we should minimize unnecessary use by implementing as many replacements as we can. Which means expanding solar/wind and battery use where possible.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Energy Secretary Chris Wright: "The world runs on hydrocarbons. It did when I was born, it does today, it will when I die. We just simply don't have replacements for most all the uses of hydrocarbons. In fact, in the US we're at a record high 74% of US energy comes from oil and natural gas."

It was ridiculous of Roberts to do so, but he did. And, as I explained at the time, more than that, the “debate” was manufactured. Extremists forced the topic, first by talking about it, then by pushing it into broader and more mainstream sources until courts could claim there was a debate.
