Brazilians recommending not to amplify right-wing talking points by dunking and quoting, as a winning strategy Next day, my tl is full of people dunking on rfk jr I literally would not have seen the bigotry if it wasn't for y'all repeating it. That's exactly what the Brazilians were on about!

This is not a joke, this is a real proposal! Surely, with all the surveillance and targeted ads being done in America, this is possible. And early voter turnout would SKYROCKET.

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

@skeetsapp.com I assume these will be supported in the Skeets app… right?

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

Edd Coates | Game UI Database@eddcoates.bsky.social

Yet again, the Game UI Database is being scraped to the point that it's getting knocked offline. Even Cloudflare's "I'm under attack" mode isn't working. I just wanted to create a resource for real designers. I'm getting so fucking sick of this.

There’s the obvious, of course, but do these guys ever try explaining what the fraud is? Like… what are the people who are paying for health insurance but not using it stealing supposedly?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Assistant AG for Fraud Colin McDonald: "Apparently 35% of people have never even used their Obamacare account for any health services. That is a statistical impossibility and it's because these are not real people seeking real care. These are fraudsters."

Brent Butler reposted

I like how the people in charge of health insurance have somehow been doctors for decades but seem to have only just heard of the concept of health insurance and have no idea how it works.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Dr Oz: "There are 5 times more people in parts of Obamacare in Florida than live in the state. It's impossible More than a third of people on Obamacare have never used the insurance policy once. If you were gonna pay your hard-earned money to buy insurance, would you ever use it? The answer is yes"

Congress can’t indict people. They can have hearings and impeachment trials. But not criminal trials. Please don’t expect criminal trials and then blame democrats when you don’t get them. Midterms are step one. We have to win in 2028 and add seats to SCOTUS to hold people criminally accountable.

We started a trade war with these people because the president, who has some sort of degenerative brain disease with visible bruises on his hand's injection site that the press doesn't talk about, was bored.

So it would appear that the White House has banned the importation of Crown Royal, Canadian Club, and all other Canadian whiskeys/scotches. Stock up if they're one of your favorite brands, because the U.S. might not get any new supply for the next couple years...

The vice president of the United States being “okay” with his actions helping bring about the end of the world is precisely why government policy should be based on reason and reality, not religious prophecy.

The overwhelming right wing sentiment is that COVID was an engineered bioweapon that was also harmless. Trump overreacted to it by shutting down the country, then engineered a drive to create a vaccine that was the real bioweapon that killed millions, and it's Joe Biden's fault.

It's probably worth noting that the four most evangelical states (AL, OK, MS, AR) consistently rank near the bottom in health, education and overall quality of life, while the four least evangelical (UT, MA, RI, NH) consistently rank near the top.
