Fuck it. I'm doing the thing I'm afraid to do. As someone who was assaulted four times in college, twice by my ex, and two other times by people who I thought I could trust, it's now scary to be in an industry where I always have to keep my guard up.

I feel like I have so much I want to say but it’s just this incoherent ramble. But do you know how much it weighs on me to be the one woman on staff at GameSpot? To be one of VERY few women in the industry? To be one of ever fewer moms? To walk into press events and be the *sole* woman?
