It's wild to me that some Americans are still undecided for the midterms. You have a president who is corrupt and actively destroying your country - and yet...

Not the outcome we wanted, but the halftime show was sooo good. Dare I say make it next year's grey cup show and have indigenous dancers from across the country?

The QPs and replies in this are dripping with american exceptionalism. The fact that dems in the replies and it's are triggered by the word "mandate" tells me all i need to know. It will take generations for trust to be rebuilt, if it all.

This is the part many Americans -- including the Bezosites at the Washington Post -- don't understand. Canadians don't see this just as a Trump thing. It's that America elected him twice, and the second time with an even bigger mandate. The problem we're addressing is America, not Trump.

Canada will not be bullied by President Chicken a la Orange & his side dish of sycophant simps. We are a proud people. We are a fair people. And we are nice, until we are not. We are the true North, strong and free. We will not be bent, nor broken. FAFO. πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

As anyone in publishing will tell you, women do not resist reading books by men, but men will often dismiss books by women. This is not a publishing problem or a failure to target men. It's a misogyny problem.

Seppies out in these social media streets, showing everyone exactly who they are. The masks are off. It’s always been about racism, homophobia, and hate. They want their own little fiefdom of middle aged white men.

We’re about to hear a lot of hand-wringing about how the internet did this to men but this is what men did to the internet.

CNN exposes a global β€œonline rape academy” that teaches men how to drug and rape women without detection. Over 62 million men attended in February alone.

Was Trump the doctor?

The New York Times@nytimes.com

A Florida doctor tried to persuade colleagues in the operating room that the liver he removed from a 70-year-old patient was a spleen, according to the state health department. The patient died on the operating table, and now the doctor's been charged with manslaughter.

I don't know why the Gladu floor-crossing causes so much faux confusion. The Liberals needed a vote. Gladu wanted to be in government and was fed up with Poilievre, and is prepared to put a gag on herself to get there. That's it. Not complicated. #cdnpoli

Tumbler Ridge is a small planned resource community, a winding 90 minute drive from the nearest city of at least 10,000 people. A massive number of people are going to descend there tomorrow. May those that arrive have respect and grace for the unimaginable grief.

Poilievre's Conservatives are all pounding the same talking old points, as they haven't learned anything and are genetically incapable of pivoting. Blaming the cost of groceries on Carney is one of their main memes, but Dragons' Den host Arlene Dickinson has something to say about that... #cdnpoli

Tonight I watched Prime Minister Mark Carney take the actual Heated Rivalry Canada fleece from Hudson Williams, slip it on and say: β€œThis is true soft power.”
