No. The charges are already time barred. Under the relevant statute of limitations, an indictment must be filed within 10 years of the offense, which allegedly occurred on October 5, 2016. This DOJ is out of control.

Allison Gill@muellershewrote.com

I believe that DOJ has 30 days to get a grand jury indictment after charging on information unless Comey waived his right to a grand jury indictment, which I kind of doubt. That 30 days would expire 11/4. Is that correct @joycewhitevance.bsky.social @barbmcquade.bsky.social @rparloff.bsky.social ?

Donald Trump hasn't even gotten to Election Day and his administration is already trying to stop a state from certifying a result. I don't want to jump to conclusions about where this ends. But this could be the beginning of the admin's effort to meddle in the midterms and we need to pay attention.

RFK Jr. likes to claim that the current measles outbreak isn’t his fault. Nobody here will be surprised to hear that he is lying again. Under his “leadership”, the CDC didn’t respond to a request to validate a test that could diagnose cases faster. They said they had other priorities.

This week, NIH advisors rebuked RFK for harming #NIH and US science. Sheryl Gay Stolberg reported it. Then RFK posted calling her sources anonymous or corrupt. I'll say this hoping it does good: I'm an NIH scientist, I'm not anonymous, and RFK Jr is destroying NIH. More in attachment:

Poverty is a policy decision. Concentrated wealth is a policy decision. Inequality is a policy decision. Economic inequality is not some naturally occurring phenomenon. It is the consequence of choices. One question I always urge my students to ask: who is the market organized for — and why?
