"All of them said, right before they died, their very last words, incredibly dramatic moment, they said, 'President Trump is the kindest, warmest, bravest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.' True story!"
Trump on fallen US troops: "All of them said very strongly, 'We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.'"

Wow. What an asshole.
Nehls on how House GOP will make case for affordability back home: Nehls: What are you talking about? I'm gonna get me lobster tails. Some nice rib eyes. Reporter: Do you think the 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck can afford that? Nehls: Maybe not. Maybe they don't work as hard as me.

Actually, we *should* be able to expect the president of the United States to be able to restrain himself from personally threatening to kill the negotiators from another country. It's not that unreasonable at all, you pathetic toady.
JD Vance: "What we told the Iranians yesterday is that when you guys engage in what us millennials might call trash talk, you can't expect the president of the United States not to respond and not to correct the record." (Trump threatened to assassinate Iran's negotiators yesterday ... )

This moment requires a proportionate response and any timid centrist pushing this poll-focused, triangulating, bipartisan pablum needs to be put out to pasture. Go big or go home.
OMG. The GOP's Project 2025 promised to radically remake government and they've destroyed almost every instituion and turned the Constitution on its head. The Dems are going to answer that with Project 2029. The agenda: "Utility Monopoly" "Child care" "Kids over clicks" and "The annoyance economy."

Didn't bend, didn't cower, didn't even feel the need to stand next to Trump grinning awkwardly like it was normal. And now he's emerged unscathed with his job and his dignity intact and his reputation even stronger than before. Huh. Seems like this could be a model for others in power.
A master class by Jerome Powell.

You and your neighbors should not be subsidizing the electricity needs of a data center run by a trillion-dollar corporation. My Power for the People Act would force Big Tech to pay for their own power needs. We should pass it today to protect consumers from rising costs NOW.

This is a moderate position and every single democrat including and especially @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social and @schumer.senate.gov should be shouting it from the rooftops.
Van Hollen: "I am not going to cast a vote -- not one dime -- to support this lawless, brutal Trump ICE operation"

We don't need to give ICE agents more training. We need to subject them to rigorous oversight and, when they commit crimes, we need to prosecute them. The only education they need is to learn that they can and will be held accountable for what they do in the field.
Chris Murphy: "The amount of training that's given to an ICE officer has been cut in half by this administration. The number of days of training they get are 47. You know why they get 47 days? As an homage to the vanity of POTUS. No wonder the number of violent incidents are going through the roof."
