I'm going to try to do this cleanly. Today's right wing governments are networked to each other. Those networks are well-documented. You can read about them in books. Following the elections in one node of that network is good practice for understanding the U.S. node.

I just think Matt's wrong about this. We're at a point in our technological development where a ton of problems spill over national borders--if Flavio Bolsonaro burns down the Amazon, that will flood houses in Miami.

My Discover tab is mostly BioWare appreciation posts and I like all of them. So BlueSky shows me more BioWare appreciation posts. This is the only good thing about this past week.

My cat is very affectionate, (correctly) wary around strange humans, and kind of selfish (but my other cats are really laid back so it’s fine) *written without the assistance of AI.

There was a thread the other day on here about all the things that have gotten better in our lifetimes, and it seemed half of them were about environmental quality. (No more smog, no more flaming rivers, etc.) All that is being aggressively undone.

This week has been rough for all BioWare fans, and while we hope to share something positive soon about the other Dragon Age projects we've been working on, we have good news for everyone who pre-ordered the Wedge of Destiny plush: 🧀Pre-orders have begun shipping!🧀

“Gifts for Men”: a basket of cleaning supplies and the complete works of bell hooks

Clara Jeffery@clarajeffery.bsky.social

Man the lists for “suggested gift for male friends” is so bereft, it’s all wallet or headphones or booze. I pride myself on being a good gift giver and I will not be defeated.

Jumping on the bandwagon to show my love for Bioware 💕 I'm still way too heartbroken to really say much. DA was the series that shaped me over the past eleven yrs. The stories, the characters, the worldbuilding, the art direction. I will never be able to thank the studio enough. Thank you, Bioware.

Let's keep the train of art inspired by Bioware games going 💖 DAO was one of the first games I played as an adult and Veilguard lifted me from a creative slump. I'd not be where I am artistically without it. ME and DA got me through so much and I'll forever be thankful to the devs for creating them

Pisses me off seeing people say Veilguard is the reason, Andromeda was the reason Shut up It’s EA Always has been If they let Bioware be Bioware, if they didn’t stick their nose in and try to micromanage the companies they buy, then MAYBE Bioware could have lived

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

Was not expecting the jiu-jitsu ending!! “Do you disavow any attempt to read Christian doctrine into the laws of our nation?” “I do not.” “So I think it’s you who need to learn the Constitution, not me.” 💀

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

I wondered what would come up because I don’t see a lot of boats. It found an awesome photo from Paris 2018 that I’d forgot I’d taken. ☺️

Go to your camera roll and search "boat" and then post a picture of a boat you like.

I’m sorry to have to be the bad guy here but we need to recognize that we live in a compressed air thrusters world now. If you’re not finding ways to teach the critical use of compressed air thrusters in your classroom, you’re setting your students up to fail when you could be setting them up to fly

Behold!! On this Indigenous People’s Day, the first page of the first number of THE CHEROKEE PHOENIX (1828)- featuring the Cherokee Constitution in English & Cherokee, in the syllabary created by Sequoyah. An epic milestone in Native American history and the history of print
