Trump, who has been claiming the US controls the Strait of Hormuz, now says he's talking with Iran about "opening the Strait literally by tomorrow" 🤔

Dead or alive, Mitch McConnell is on extended medical leave — on your dime. This is the same Mitch McConnell who voted against: paid family and medical leave for everyone else.

So that’s TWO ex-wives, two daughters and an immediately family member that he physically abused and/or threatened. Just an insane story

Congresswoman AOC has introduced a bill that would ban Supreme Court Justices from accepting lavish gifts from the ultra wealthy. Love that, but what I find insane is that this isn’t already illegal.

Ken Paxton’s billionaire handlers won’t let him answer questions in public. It’s why he hasn’t debated in over a decade. But I want him to prove me wrong. I’m challenging Ken Paxton to three televised debates.

Is there any vetting of these thugs? Just giving random guys weapons and pointing them at us.

Wow. The ICE shooter in Maine asked his ex-wife to "to lie for him and to cover for his character." She said he was abusive and had previously reported concerns about him to his military superiors. He was also a volunteer firefighter, but was removed after several spats with department leadership.

Please explain to me how the same senators who voted for the Epstein Transparency Acf would now vote to confirm the man who’s leading the continuing coverup of the Epstein files.

Isn't it weird that this week a currently sitting president had to pay a woman MILLIONS of dollars for *raping* (and defaming) her—and the media has forgotten all about it? There was a time that this would have been the ONLY story—until the rapist was driving from office.

Sen. Cornyn: Is the $1.8 billion slush fund moot? Blanche: "It's dead. It's not moving forward." Cornyn: Has there been a written agreement to modify the settlement? Blanche: No. The settlement agreement remains an enforceable document & Trump could sue to enforce its terms incl. the slush fund.

gradymac.bsky.social reposted

BLANCHE: As part of the settlement between the IRS & President Trump and some of his family and his organization, part of the settlement included release of any past audits. DURBIN: It's hard to explain that nobody is above the law when that type of document was signed by you

Blanche concedes he talked with Trump about the slush fund/release agreement after it was "dead." Dem Senators: Follow up and ask for details. He probably won't reveal them, claiming privilege, but at least ask why we should have confidence he represents the people, not the president, in this.

This isn’t about convicting Don Lemon. It’s unlikely that will happen. It’s about intimidating journalists & making them censure themselves out of fear of consequences. It’s about eroding the free press because the administration can’t afford the criticism.

This just in: "Don Lemon was taken into custody by federal agents last night in Los Angeles, where he was covering the Grammy awards," Lemon's attorney Abbe Lowell says.

Lemon has one of the nation’s best lawyers and a national profile. I’m worried about the other reporter and two activists arrested with him.

There’s no justification for shooting someone ten times in the back. There’s no justification for shooting someone ten times in the back. The debate about what Alex Pretti did or didn’t do is irrelevant. The agents committed murder. It wasn’t a “bad shoot”. It was a killing

He is simply saying don’t give up before the fight has started. That’s it. Your statement feeds into the “nothing we do will help” malaise. We don’t need that. I understand your point, just trying to help you understand his.

The DOJ is more than three weeks late in delivering the Epstein Files. In those three weeks: - Trump declared himself acting President of Venezuela - ICE murdered a woman in Minnesota - Trump is preparing an invasion of a NATO ally - Trump initiated a criminal investigation of Fed Chair Powell

I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

ICE policy requires the use of bodyworn cameras. Video should be available from every agent who was involved in the death of a citizen in Minneapolis. ICE should release all of that video so the public can have clarity about the Secy's claim the shooting was self defense. www.ice.gov/news/release...

Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.
