“Crime is spiralling out of control under Labour” says Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp. It’s a lie. According to the new Crime Survey: -violent crime DOWN -knife crime DOWN -robbery DOWN -overall crime DOWN -shoplifting DOWN Yet Tory/Reform liars say it’s surging…

Good game against a good footballing side. Great to keep a clean sheet too. 😁😅 Wirtz played well. Gakpo tried everything, but it wasn't his day. Araujo - magnificent. MOTM. #LFC #YNWA 3 points delivered. 👏👏👏🎉

Heading to Anfield over the Pennines. The weather is a mixture of gales 💨🍃and driving rain 🌧️, interspersed with the occasional appearance from the sun 🌦️. Hope it's died down a bit by the time we reach Liverpool. 🤞 #LFC #YNWA

So, Farage has reported ITV to the police following the work their undercover journalists did which confirmed that Reform is indeed a seething mass of racism, misogyny and bigotry. Meanwhile, here’s some commentary from Private Eye and their handy guide to undercover journalists.

We were definitely better in the 2nd half. Wirtz's introduction helped us keep hold of the ball much better. Anyway it was a good result in the end. Up the inconsistent #Reds #LFC #YNWA

Too slow getting forward and some really slack passing. No closing down, letting them waltz straight through. 😬 Somehow we are back in it. 😅 Come on #Reds Show a bit more urgency and concentration in the 2nd half please. 🤞 #LFC #YNWA Very stressful. 🤨😬

Sorry but what the fuck is this? This isn’t a real stat is it, they’re a conspiracy of cheats. The entire history of this team 2008-now needs to be scrubbed off and replaced with asterisks. It’s getting tiresome.

I keep thinking about City’s attitude yesterday & I really hope their arrogance and lack of contrition is taken into account when sanctions are finally given. You can argue the players on the pitch blah blah but unfortunately for them every single one of them is complicit. Those titles mean nothing

They also remain the only side found guilty of financial doping, and 114 charges too. Somewhat more important than this nothing game and record.

I, for one, am delighted that Chris Kavanagh is happy to allow their defenders to repeatedly drag Lewis Koumas to the ground without any free-kicks going against them, but send Ryan Gravenberch off for two none fouls. Definitely not a bent Manc bastard at all.

No idea why Sky are so excited. Until the punishments are handed down the season means nothing. The game is a farce now, the League table a nonsense because there’s no competitive football till this has been resolved. No one will end today with points so why bother? We might as well wait till August

41 passes and 114 charges of cheating.

There were 41 passes in the build up to Manchester City's third goal against Liverpool. The previous longest for a passing move leading to a goal this season was 24. (Opta)

Christ (whether real or not) was a man who looked after the poor and refugees, which bit of his teachings attracted them to the religion apart from its not Islam whose followers are foreign and brown? Answered my own question there!

As well as a Britannia Magic Dome, Tories will build a Halo Array, a Stargate, a Dark Tower, and a Death Star - named respectively Spirit of the Blitz, Maggie's Opening, Boris-Dûr, and Churchill's Clacker - funded by sales of a new wellness smoothie made with carrot, ginger, and poor people's tears.

I'm old enough to remember that one of Thatcher's reasons for privatisation was that huge investment would modernise the structures. Another that 'competition' would keep costs to customers low. Utter bobbins.

If someone threatens to withdraw investment because they are not getting their way, that does rather suggest that, until now, they have been getting their way.

Sir Ian McKellen orates 'The Stranger's Case' from 'Sir Thomas More' by Shakespeare about the Evil May Day xenophobic riot of 1517 in London. This passage was written 400 years ago, but times never change. Humanity refuses to change its unwarranted bias against 'others'.

Sky peddling the lie that Man City won their case against UEFA at CAS when in fact it was simply a case of a lot of the charges were time barred so punishment could not be enforced. They were still guilty.

That was a bad miss. 😁 Thank goodness. 😅 Come on Germany. Let's control the ball a bit better. It's a bit like watching #LFC when they start faffing about. 😬
