Major powers always use force to grab assets of other countries. US has initiated 201 out of 248 armed conflicts since the end of WWII. Vast swathes of the world destabilised to lubricate the US economy and boost corporate profits. Resentment grows. There has to be a better way.

Reform will apparently pledge today that they'd abolish indefinite leave to remain - including retrospectively, to people already granted it. Obviously this is a moral abomination but it is also a practical and legal impossibility.

To remove indefinite leave to remain from people who already have it they'd have to dismantle our entire system of rights legislation and probably end judicial independence. But they could do that with a majority. They've said they'd do that.
