Tice & Reform are pushing the “protecting women” narrative strongly. More on tomorrow’s @quietriotpod.bsky.social. I reread their contract/festo. The word “women” appears just 3 times, each only in context of “service men and women”. They are not protecting our rights, but seeking to subjugate us.

23 out of 48 men involved in the race riots in Belfast in August last year had previously been arrested on abuse charges. Tice has not offered to protect their wives, girlfriends & daughters from these violent thugs.

Spent two hours with Ann Widdecombe this morning - quite the experience. Disagreed on pretty much everything. Great to expose that Reform pretends to represent working class communities, but it's billionaires they're really serving. With Rob Rinder on 5.

And people still think this government are better than the Tories. Is there a life they haven’t made worse?

Dan Sohege@danielsohege.bsky.social

The policies set out in this government's immigration white paper go further than the previous government's on creating a hostile environment for migrants. It will see so many people who have built lives here suddenly finding those lives utterly destroyed. www.bbc.com/news/article...

A total disgrace of a paper. A total disgrace of a man. I would worry for Jenrick’s daughters too, being brought up by a hate-mongering opportunist, driven mad by Tory failure and now desperate to whip up prejudice, division and social unrest in his vile pursuit of power.

Arresting 400+ people for the "terrorist" offence of protesting against mass murder while large segments of the right are openly encouraging riots against immigrants is a tale of a very unhappy country and government.

466 arrests by the Police yesterday for holding cardboard signs, the most they have ever done in one day at one location. Not a single actual crime was committed. They must be so proud.

The threat to our society is not from asylum seekers in small boats. It’s from politicians and media cynically whipping up fear and prejudice, labelling them all as criminals, inciting hatred against people for where and what they’ve fled from. It must stop. For all our sakes. It’s deeply sinister.

Narrator: Sadly though, SCOTUS has now exempted the president from the founders’ intent to criminalize bribery.

Nicholas Grossman@nicholasgrossman.bsky.social

The CEO of a a multi-trillion dollar company went to the White House, openly handed the US president a gift made of gold, and his company got a special exemption to tariffs the president has illegally imposed. Also, the Founders took bribery so seriously the Constitution bans it 3 separate times.

Another horrific series of press rights abuses tonight at hands of LAPD. Initial reports are 4 journalists injured (several bleeding), 3 cameras broken, 5 put in zip ties. All in defiance of state law, a judge's order, and chief's signed order. LAPD can't police itself. Maybe the judge will.

I wonder if the police genuinely feel better about themselves at the end of a day's work after they've arrested and removed aged and disabled passive genocide protestors, instead of toughing it out with Stella and cocaine-fueled Baz from Kent, who wants to burn down a "migrant hotel" in Romford?
