It is incredible to me how many people in this country have absolutely no problem with their tax dollars financing the bombing of people they don't even know, but draw the line at using said taxes to help provide food or healthcare for family, or a neighbour… Pathetic. 😎✨

Kinda wild that there have been wild protests going on in Albania for months set off by a corrupt Kushner luxury resort project and there has been barely coverage of it here 🇺🇸 and Trump never gets asked about it.

Ossoff: The money that they took from you when they slashed Medicaid and defunded hospitals and nursing homes—They’re taking that money to buy corrupt, taxpayer-funded political ads on national television to try to promote the failed and broken president…

The same Brendan Carr who wanted to investigate NBC because Kamala was on SNL? The same Brendan Carr who wanted to dismantle independent fact checking and accused them of being a “censorship cartel?” Periodic reminder that the corruption is a feature, not a bug.

Ossoff: "What did they spend the most political capital trying to do over the last 18 months? Cover up the Epstein files. They worked harder to cover up the Epstein files than they ever did to lower grocery prices."

If NFL owners want to censor who performs in stadiums, they shouldn't ask taxpayers to help build them. You can't take public subsidies for stadiums then use them as your personal editorial board. Pay for it all out of your own pocket and hold as many Kid Rock concerts as you want to.

The MAGA Inc. super PAC has received its biggest contributions from Big Tech, tobacco, and THE GEO GROUP — the largest private prison company that profits off cruelty. We need to stop this scourge of corporate money and prevent corporations from buying politicians.

After skipping the NYC 9/11 service because they wouldn’t let him give a partisan political speech, and falling asleep again in the middle of the day at the Pentagon ceremony, Trump will be in Ireland this weekend promoting his own golf resort at our expense.

For Labor Day this year I wrote about wage theft (LA is the wage theft capital of the nation---over $1.4 billion/yr) and the just-passed city legislation to fight it, the result of a 3-year legislative struggle... and decades of organizing before that. 1/7

One of the things I hate the most about tariffs is that we knew they were illegal, and when the court finally decided they were illegal, they forced Trump to refund the tariffs. But the refunds went to the corporations, and not the people the corporations raised prices on. What a scam.

If all income in excess of $400,000 were subject to the Social Security payroll tax, Social Security’s solvency would be guaranteed forever. We could also expand Social Security benefits. There’s no reason even to consider reducing Social Security benefits or raising the age of eligibility.
