I call it “Crumbling” Farum Azula. Azula it was great once and now it’s crumbling, at the center is a BIG DOG and he is the DOG of DEATH. And the “Death Dog” he carries a sword and you’ve never seen anything like it, it’s incredible how he cuts and slashes and his HP is quite low, it’s all very bad

every time i see this title card i read it in Trump voice

No one asked but: Gov/LtGov/SEN/MA02: blank (not a good one in the bunch) MASen: Moore MARep: Lazzaro Q1: Y Q2: Y Q3: N (bc jungle primaries are bad) Q4: N (wrong direction for voting) Q5: N (I like tax cuts and hate this q) Q6: Y Q7: Y Q8: N (keeps pot law in place) Q9: N (repeals bad gun law)

Of the 9(!) questions, I really only feel strongly about Q1 (for obvious reasons) and Q7 (to build more housing). There are some "rich people are backing Yes on 3" takes that I absolutely hate because of how it fails to engage with the actual problem of jungle primaries. Q8 won't lose.

Ok, I was all primed to take the author’s side here, but if the article is accurate, the dealbreaker was the authors’ insistence, in a book for young readers, on the insane position that the October 7 attacks were a legitimate form of resistance under international law. Yup, totally fair Penguin.

NEW: A Palestine book by Alana Hadid and Jenan Matari has been pulled from Penguin Random House just before its release. As a result of the dispute, a long-running series of nonfiction books by marginalized folks on the histories of their peoples is also ending at Penguin Alana + Jenan speak out:

Governor Healey, why do you believe that killing someone experiencing a mental health crisis is something to celebrate?

When lives are on the line, extraordinary courage can make all the difference. At the Trooper George L. Hanna Memorial Awards for Bravery, we honored officers who put others before themselves. Massachusetts is grateful for your service. You’ve always had our backs, and we’ll always have yours.

Emails @jongerhardson.bsky.social obtained show that for more than two years, Sheriff Nick Cocchi’s office routinely sent ICE agents the personal information of people held in its custody. It has discontinued the practice after the PROTECT Act took effect, but it's continuing a partnership with HSI:

theshoestring.orgRecords: Hampden sheriff’s office regularly shared data with ICEAn attorney for the department said it has discontinued the practice after the PROTECT Act took effect last month, but that it will continue its partnership with Homeland Security Investigations.

LETTERMAN: In fact Digger is doing so poorly that Tom Cruise has been using the empty theaters to hide Shelly Miscavige. [big bass sting from the band, scattered laughs, some "ooohs"] Have you seen Shelly Miscavige lately, Paul? SHAFFER [smiling]: Not recently, Dave.

I just stumbled across the only known issue of an African-American periodical titled: The People's Journal. It was published in Brooklyn, NY from roughly 1866-1869. This issue is dated August 29, 1868. I'm still trying to digest all of this, but at a glance I already see some really cool stuff. 🗃️🧵

When I first heard about AI being used for menus and advertisements, my concern was largely that it would be used to idealize the food and make it look better than it actually was. At no point did I imagine that restaurants would willingly put out horrific looking images of their food on purpose
