The answers are provincial/federal: housing, public healthcare for physical, mental and substance use health, social programs and income support. Stop getting whipped and tricked into anger over 2% property tax, some infill properties or expanded transportation options.

The funny thing about this question is that is will disproportionately affect white people. Newer Canadian citizens have their citizenship cards, and likely have their passports. My parents became Canadian in 1990. Their citizenship certificates are framed and on our wall.

Just a note- separatists pitched option 2 to hold a binding referendum as a way to send a message to Ottawa. Many folks jumped on that idea. Which means, no, 24.5% of Albertans do not support separation. The actual number is lower.

If the separation vote goes the way the polls have indicated, this was a wholly unnecessary pairing that serves only to keep him politically relevant as other conservatives more openly slide to the far right. She (and the NDP) got played.

The NDP is not winning folks over with centrist-faux-conservatism. This pairing did not shift any separatist tides. Notice that JK was the only former AB premier to not sign that op-ed about voting no on the immigration Qs. This is PR mismanagement by anyone around Notley and the AB NDP with a say.
