Say what you will and maybe AI got us into this mess, but I've been working like a dog on PHPshell related stuff and I'd never have been able to dig out without some AI help. No chance I'm understanding all the code I need to use to recover data for colleagues etc etc

Yeah this shit has had me busting my ass since yesterday morning. I've done like 24 hours of work in the last 30 or something like that.

shitposts aside, this one is serious, my loves: if you’re just waking up and you have any service online running PHP 5.4 to latest, you need to take it down RIGHT NOW and don’t put it back online until after it’s patched absolutely catastrophic vulnerability dropped in the middle of the night

Forwarding this directly to my wife! (Like every other Birkenstock enjoyer aka "Dad" who sees it)

Socks and sandals are nothing new! These well-preserved woollen socks from Egypt feature a split-toe design allowing them to be worn with thonged sandals to keep toes cosy in chilly weather some 1,500 years ago! 🩴🧦 V&A Museum 📷 by me #Archaeology

Did I mention I work for the NDP now? Having a great time building on the web for a great organization on a great mission for Canadians! 🟧🎃🍊👔

Great NY times article about Norwegian lad going missing in Canadian wilderness. Thought I'd check the news this AM and was utterly captivated by it over my coffee. I'll add the gift link below

Watching the Twilight Zone on Netflix. Amazing, banger from the very first episode. Great score too. The space between light and dark, you're entering The Twilight Zone....

Diving back into local Linux development (not cloud based, not entirely in Docker) and once again realizing how hosed you are the moment you type: "sudo apt install..." npm has nothing on it. As soon as you're missing a lib, it's already too late for you. Doomed to toil forever...

Don't let billionaires convince you slop is the future. They're used to managing & directing, not making things themselves. Of course they can't see the difference. They don't understand your love for the craft. Keep making personal, beautiful games. You've got my support 💖

Really want the guardians and rays series to go the distance and then the Brewers to take em in 5. Really enjoying the smaller market postseason without yankees and dodgers

Web Awesome works in React, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Rails, and that .html file from 2009 you're scared to open. They're web components. They don't care about your framework drama.

The Trump-aligned CEO of an American corporation is dismantling one of Canada’s most important industries and 500 Canadian workers could lose their jobs. If we’re serious about making Canada strong, it’s time to take back control of our economy and nationalize Stelco.

@danielroe.dev is the GOAT! I literally was thinking of starting a project and was thinking "my PDS could be my CMS?🤔" and blame, here it is, done by a champ! Spaces are gonna be a huge game changer (privacy, drafts etc) Wow! 🤙🍻🙏🎉👌

🙋‍♂️ ever wanted to build something without needing to configure a db, auth, file storage or a cms? it turns out you already have all four if you have a bluesky account 👉 airspace is a typed client for it

This is Knap. It's a new language I created that turns data into Markdown. Knap should feel familiar and comes with a wonderfully pleasant syntax to modify and format plain text.

I’ve long wondered why Bluesky hadn’t yet setup a hosted MCP for the Atmosphere to make it even more accessible to AI agents, so I decided to do it myself with @aturi.to! Give it a spin: aturi.to/mcp Covers the protocol, Bluesky, APIs, docs, and more!

Aturi@aturi.to

Introducing… Atmosphere MCP With just one URL, you can give your AI agent or coding interface streamlined access to the AT Protocol, Bluesky, and the Atmosphere. • Ask about repos & lexicons • Learn about the protocol • Analyze an account’s post history 38 agent tools Try it: aturi.to/mcp

Born in fire, battered by the wreckage of colliding worlds, covered for eons in magma, wracked by volcanoes, frozen and thawed again and again, and after everything went just wrong and right enough, here it is: our home. The rarest gift in the known universe. Happy Earth Day.

Look at this dope art!

I would like to announce that I will be at Pixel Art Park this year as an in person exhibitor. I will be selling several special items including an art book featuring many pieces I have never uploaded, concept art, and variants. I will also be showcasing a playable demo of my game. #pixelartpark

Great site!

This is a simple but absolutely genius idea of a site!! It doesn't hit you with ai images (unless you ask), it does cite all the sources, and explains every step of conditional randomization. Absolutely brilliant!! (I died a toddler in the mud which is about right)

Good discussion here

does anyone around here write creatively every day? trying to do it for at least all of september and partly also as i'm reading positive obsession (biography of octavia butler) and it was her advice for writers too. i've been journaling daily for ~133 days but creative writing is harder to crack.

The Art style here is incredible

REBOUNDER. A new game developed by ThirtyThree, published by Aggro Crab. Rebounder is a hand-crafted precision platformer about a roughneck worker recruited for a hazardous job on a distant planet. Nail the run. Deliver your line. Dropping 2027.

So I use Astro a lot. Like it, great framework. The recommended CMS is (now?) Cloud Canon. Anyone have thoughts about cloud canon? Let me know if it's a good deal or whatever else!

While being bad for big companies losing money they didn't earn and taking it out on undeserving employees of the industry........it has created a lot of opportunities for small devs and teams to get noticed Spend the $200 GTA6 will cost on a shitty PC to play Megabonk and Look Outside (I did)
