Koren/K. M. Enright

Hello, I'm the writer of queer gothic fantasy that follows a blood mage spymaster as she recruits a noble bastard with a terrible gift to hunt down a magical serial killer for the vampiric Eternal King—all while planning to overthrow him. Isaac, featured on the cover of LORD, is a trans man.

Slasher film AU where *both* Shan and Isaac are killers fighting over final girl Samuel

One thing about the whole "you have to read books if you want to be an author" thing is that if you aim to do more than just genre inbreeding, you have to read stuff outside the genre you're writing, too. May even have to read [shudders] nonfiction.

I am unsure I highlight *a lot* when doing research reading or if Midliners just don't have the juice Why do you last like, three-four chapters at max???

The long-serving strongman leader of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has conceded defeat in an election that pitted him and his right-wing party against a diverse student-led opposition movement that spent two years protesting his government.

Everyone who is saying "Dems in red states have to throw trans people under the bus to win" -- no. They don't. When they do that, we just start with no winning options on the table. It gives in to the fascist premise that we get to decide some groups don't get rights. THIS is what I want to see.

Bolsonaro-friendly mayors appear to be sabotaging public transport on Election Day. Buses aren’t running in Lula-friendly areas, flights and ferries mysteriously canceled. Traffic lights have gone out and people’s power cut in Salvador, indigenous people’s travel restricted

I hate the American Healthcare System

we should all be pissed off at this btw. if not because sex work is legitimate work and should be treated with respect, then because you should be concerned at attempts to gentrify online spaces as pretext to court investors and force out minorities so those spaces can become part of a portfolio.

My dear friend needs dental work, and if you've been looking for some fantastic fucky fiction, their entire catalog is on sale! Vampires and revolution and monsters--Ladz has everything you're looking for!

You know that meme of one person holding the leash of a feral gremlin person? Yeah, Samuel is holding Shan and Isaac’s leashes

Ahahaha. Ahahahahahahaha. How much time do you have cause

Everyone wants to be loud and no one wants to be cool.

Fellow queer indie editor had their power shut off due to a mix up with disability and urgently needs $600 to turn it back on, if you could spare $3 even that is helpful🙏I know A LOT of us been in this situation and it’s really nerve wracking ko-fi.com/nelkacozygin...

If they can do it to her, they will do it to anyone. Fuck this b

Koren, why does it take you so long to write a new book? Well!

Gut reaction is the meme. But more seriously, growing up visibly Asian in rural, small-town Americana is an endless gauntlet of micro and macro-aggressions.

I usually start by collecting words that are thematically resonant to the story and then just shuffle them around until something neat happens If I'm really stuck, I chat it out with a friend (thanks Jo, you've helped a LOT).

My trio would be finding new and inventive ways to stay warm and cozy…in bed…in the study…in Shan’s Blood Working laboratory…in the dining room…

Dark, fucky fantasy and horror about unlikable people. Yes, even the marginalized ones--*especially* the marginalized ones.

"Honestly five dollars for a human tooth is a good price" is something that Remedy Entertainment has led me to say, if you're wondering how Control: Resonant is going

FA is being pressured to remove adult content but they're holding the line. It's so important sites like this survive, please check out their post and help if you can

I need to write the back cover copy before I can even start drafting. It gives me a vision to work towards and a stable sense of scope so I don't drift too far off course.

I was lucky enough to read this early, and holy shit y'all. This book is fantastic.
