In the early 1990s, I co-created one of the first fully computer-animated TV series, in an Amsterdam animation studio. We used a mix of drawn elements and digitized photos in DPaint on Amigas. We made one 5-minute episode a week, while in the evenings, sometimes nights, I worked on the Hoi game. 😅

We've been playing the "Severed Chains" fan-port of The Legend of Dragoon this month, and it restores (partial) access to the PocketStation game "Mogul Dabas". It's very simple though, just a 32x32 black-and-white display filling the screen. So I mocked-up a full UI for it, what I'd love to see. 🦊
