Got side-tracked by PAX/Games week stuff here and never posted pics of The Drifter Big Box that arrived! It turned out amazing. Here it is on my trophy shelf + a dorky selfie with it. More info here if you want one -> store.reboxy.net/p/the-drifter

Tom the Postgirl by @oopsiedaisiesch.bsky.social and @arteinteractive.bsky.social seems extremely fun and weird, and it caught my eye before I actually realized that friends that work at Okomotive also worked on it (whoops 🙃) It comes out on October 29, that's just one week from now!

Input Prompts is the largest collection of glyphs covering a wide range of input devices and platforms. It's also completely free and public domain. 🎮 I want it to be even better though so looking for feedback; what's missing? what can be improved? kenney.nl/assets/input...

Truly some of the best art in and around video games has been inspired by the visual development and ancillary aesthetic language of dragon age. I hope the folks at BioWare get to put their scribbles to use elsewhere.
Love the idea, let's start a train of art inspired by Bioware games ❤️ These stories mean the world to me, its characters inspired me for years, the artists and writers behind them literally helped shape my artistic journey. I am thankful for everything you've created 🫶

These visuals are awesome!
Demo of the upcoming "Ecstatica" reissue is out, and it has a very unexpected feature - in addition to pre-rendered backgrounds from both DOS & Windows 95 versions there now an option for backgrounds being rendered *on the fly* in a resolution of your choice! 😲 store.steampowered.com/app/4834840/...

When you see devs posting their games you need to also share some of them posts. The industry is not good but some are still working and making but they need an audience and they only get that if you help share them games. Discovery is harder but you can help by simply pointing to interesting games.

PlayNow is such a vital event for Australian game makers, pre-selected face-time with publisher scouts? Astonishing. Huge props to the Vicscreen team for their efforts, and to the Vic government for keeping it open to developers from all corners of the country. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-10...

If you’re worried you’re accidentally this director, have a look at my last talk on directing as a developer: youtu.be/w2fZifakLL4?...
VOICE ACTORS: what’s the hardest to perform/least useful piece of direction you ever received? Whether it’s physically impossible, hard to implement , or simply…doesn’t make any sense, I’d love to hear it! Shares appreciated, it’s for…a thing!

absolutely disgusting to shamelessly gloat about vibecoding your product as you're charging ahead to devalue an entire industry and several art forms with copious amounts of AI confetti hyperslop, depriving real artists and developers of oxygen
"We vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher" because "programming is hard", announce company we're somehow supposed to see as a serious Steam competitor https://bit.ly/4hMHbi5

I don’t think I can truly state how nice it feels to have one of my references lead to someone making and then sharing the art inspired in some way from a photo I shared. I put a lot of energy into trying to find intresting corners of the city and I’m glad when they find an artist interested in them

When you play Big Walk you're exploring a real place. To capture that in the ambiences @househouse.com invited me on our own big walk through Wilson's Promontory National Park in Australia. Being there with the team was such a special experience, and a highlight in all my time at @ashellinthepit.com

I can see a lot of people doing that for me but if you do you should just unfollow me at that point, nothing on any site gets seen without others bothering to reshare other artists. That’s what a art community is helping to lift each other and the fastest easiest way to suport others art is reshares
