it has new tabs to help you notice priority notifications, and it uses new grouping logic to reduce noise (e.g. when one person likes a bunch of your posts).
disclaimer: it's a beta, not a final version. send us your feedback! :)

There was an NPR reporter named Alex Chadwick.
Alex would stop someone on the street and ask them some questions to elicit a story from them. And the stories were amazing. Alex maintained that everyone has a story.
People have stories.
I want to know this woman’s story.
I've mentioned before I've updated my contracts to make sure everything in the production of my books is done by humans and not "AI"; if you're wondering what such a thing looks like, here's a clause covering that from a recent contract.
Join me online for three sessions starting Thursday Nov. 26th - Dec 10th 7-9 pm CDT for Drawing Polar Bears. I'll be fresh off of guiding 4 polar bear trips in Churchill, Manitoba and we'll use my photographs as references. #SciArt

History friends! I've been challenged to put together a syllabus on the history of "hope and resistance" in dark times. I'm happy to go international but I only read English (sorry). What would you put on this syllabus? What authors should I choose? Please share! I need lots of ideas. #history
The off switch exists; it's just split across places.
On desktop:
Settings ➔ See all settings ➔ Smart features ➔ untick the box.
Then, same page: Google Workspace smart features ➔ Manage Workspace smart feature settings ➔ untick both boxes.

If you use Gmail, you need to read this.
Google’s AI, Gemini, can read your emails, attachments, bank statements, etc.
For many, this feature was switched on without consent.
Here's how to turn it off 🧵

Harvested from tiny blisters on the trunk, balsam fir resin was used in the optical industry as a glue. Made into a turpentine, it dries very hard and has a similar optical index to some glass. It was used for decades to glue lens elements and prisms and make permanent microscope slides. 🌿
When Grammy-winning musician Rhiannon Giddens begins playing “Old Corn Liquor,” a traditional Black American folk tune, acclaimed Chinese pipa virtuoso Wu Man recognizes similarities to Chinese pentatonic music and spontaneously joins in.
The joy on their faces says it all.
I made a custom variable font with axes for weight, width, and italic angle and it's everything I wanted it to be. Can't wait to release it and maybe more for free with my upcoming project.
“It was a refreshing change from how private developers think about affordable housing. Here, they weren’t talking about the land as a commodity, but as a genuinely public asset.”
New Photos: Zambia 2026
I've published my newest collection, containing photos from my September Zambia safari. Lots of great moments, which I somehow pared down to less than 100 images.

And while we're on the subject: there's no ethical use of a product brought to market through unethical means. It doesn't matter whether the product is "AI" or chocolate or diamonds. Most generative "AI" was knowingly developed through massive theft from creatives; we have the emails admitting this.
So, at @tetralogical.com, we've done a thing. We've started open sourcing our component examples, with their WCAG requirements, Gherkin scenarios, and working Playwright tests. There's 8 so far, and more on the way: tetralogical.com/blog/2026/10...#Accessibility#a11y

One thing I absolutely love about #langsky is that you can post about any language at all — and someone here will have more information or a personal experience.
The collective knowledge is impressive.
ah damn, RIP Margaret Hamilton.
she took safety-critical software engineering seriously, and got people to the moon and back.
