I guess it’s spooky name season. Will I remember to change it in November?

Huh, maybe this is a reason we should be moving our energy supply to forms that don't depend on fossil fuels. Someone should look into that.

Trump: "While oil prices are temporarily high ... the United States oil and gas business is making hundreds of billions of dollars"

How on earth do people support this man after listening to him? His campaign rallies are basically Democratic ads. “I know you’re hurting, but my friends are making a fortune! Anyway, here’s a new rendering of my gilded ballroom which will have military drones to keep the likes of you out.”

Adam gets it. Having fewer billionaires is the goal.

Most billionaire wealth isn't in yachts or jewelry — that's just a few percent of it. Most is productive business capital: companies that employ people, build things, and fund research. Tax that wealth and you're taxing the businesses that employ us all. Cato's Adam Michel explains.

It’s enraging that Ilhan Omar is being put through this, but she deserves so much credit for punching back. She’s doing her best to make it COST Trump and co for their persecution and lies. “Pedophile protection party,” hell yes. Calling out DOJ corruption, same. If they want a fight, hit ‘em hard.

Ilhan Omar@ilhanmn.bsky.social

The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history. Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.

Universal free school lunch and increased federal funding for school lunches should be part of the platform for any Democrat who actually cares about investing in the future of America. I don't care how much money parents have, kids should have good quality lunch available at no cost.

About 2 million kids have lost SNAP since deep cuts were enacted last year. The ripple effects: Kids losing SNAP also lose automatic enrollment for free meals at school. And as more kids lose SNAP, their schools may be forced to drop Community Eligibility.

And the school kitchen staff who are working miracles with the pittance they're given to feed students deserve our gratitude.
