tried out Car Park Capital, and it's like... it is exactly what sickos for the 90s Bullfrog/Maxis type games are looking for. it is craaaazy how indepth it is on all the stuff you can manage and look at. honestly it'll take a bit to adjust to it.
it's kinda like Dungeon Keeper meets SimCity 2000.

2.5 years in the frame of my new cube-bike broke. This is not supposed to happen, right? My older bike’s frame is atill holding strong after 24 years now
Few things feel better than a PR with every check green ✅
Shuttles Launch is live on Google Play, and every PR for the next features runs unit + instrumented tests on Bitrise before merging. 😌🚀

Today in #FlutterDev: Love the new guard-pattern! But now we have another thing that shares a name with an iOS element, but has an entirely different functionality 😯
This flyer for a Pico VR Space Dev hackathon/competition was handed out at @nextapp.bsky.social, and now, just a few days later, the website requires a password.
What is going on here? Did they vibecode the website and it already stopped working?
My favorite graphics in "Transportation and the Shape of Cities" #4: A typical office worker has less space in their cubicle than their car does in the parking garage.
Here is your updated list of iOS, Swift, and AI conferences for 2026!

I'm pleased to announce Launchpad — my creator discovery, organic campaigns and key distribution tools – for indie games! 🚀
This has been in development for ~2 years with a cohort of early access customers across the industry.
Here's how it helps your #indiegamemarketing:
Coca is an app for Mac, that keeps it awake. Not only that you can check in from any other Apple platform, like your Watch or iPhone. Of course it supports closed lid mode. This update brings Mac unlock, volume and brightness control as well!

i’ll beat this drum over & over again:
game devs obsessing over Steam as if it’s the only viable platform is self-sabotaging and potentially the death of their business.
case in point: rift riff was designed for Steam with $30k marketing spent. yet it makes 6X on the App Store with $0 on marketing
The more I think about it the more it seems Mafia III is a rebuke against fast travel. Ive got no clue if it’s in the game at all based on where Im at, and nothing has indicated it’ll make an appearance, but I hope it doesn’t!
In my day 52-pickup was a prank, not something you paid money to experience
They're all the same damned thing, pretty much all of them are lazy AI ripoffs of one another, and it's the worst sort of anodyne numbing dissociation-as-gameplay in the world.
A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone
I find this stuff fascinating; this is basically the animation world's equivalent of how pixel art games were designed to be played on glass tube TVs. The "imperfections" created in the process of publishing the work are part of the planned end product.
The Disney renaissance movies used to look different. They were planned to be printed on 35 mm film -- that's how they were first released.
Modern editions skip that last step in the process. It was a highly developed, overlooked craft, as we explore:
