Haley Stevens represents everything wrong with the Democratic Party. She moved into Andy Levin's district and took AIPAC's millions to defeat him in a primary. He is Jewish, she is not. She's accused Abdul El Sayed of antisemitism and bad Black outreach. The party would be better without her.

What's striking to me are the rules of engagement and the methodology of action here, which more or less is predicated on burying liberal delusions about "debate" or the "marketplace of ideas". The rules were ultimately very simple: amplify your own message and suppress your opponent's.

increasingly think the only way we get a healthy games industry out of the back of all this is if employment practices learn from film and tv production, where strong unions have traded the loss of stable and regular employment for much better pay and conditions on the job

This is a quietly metastasizing moral panic

we got a robot vacuum for our apartment and let me tell you: LIFECHANGING. last one we had was in 2015 and it was very dumb. this one rules though. vac & mop, and LIDAR maps of the whole apartment. so cool ... but also our daughter is afraid of it so we gave it googly eyes, which did not work.
