Presumably the prospect of Obama beating him is the one thing that has so far prevented Trump from taking any serious steps towards a third term

I used to do a lecture for first years about BBC Three and youth television. This became a lecture about why BBC Three went off air. It then became a lecture about why BBC Three was brought back. I stopped giving it because it became too convoluted!

Took my daughter and her friend to a branch of McDonalds which somehow doesn't have the ordering screens. I had to explain ordering at the till to them. It was like being at one of those living history museums

Just absolutely fascinating that a 2026 media conglomerate merger has somehow led to the return of the quota film. Time is a flat circle

The death of Jason Arday shows us that all leaders in education need to speak out against racism – saying nothing in the face of prejudice is not a neutral position, writes Sufian Sadiq

6yo came home from camp last week with a very large box of raisins in her backpack and has been very tightlipped about their provenance. Finally she told me yesterday, “I don’t know how to explain it.” 🤷‍♀️

Got a good job down at the Data Center. I work on the line, and it's hard work but it's honest and the wage is fair; my family and I are grateful for it. I rivet the word "absolutely" onto the little apologies that chatbots do when they misunderstand a prompt.

Hassett: "Data centers are very good for towns bc they create so many jobs & bring people in with high incomes that can buy houses & stuff like that. So if you take a sleepy town that hasn't seen much in the last 30 years & put a data center there, there are gonna be a bunch of happy residents."
