Happy #IntersexAwarenessDay! Intersex is a broad term that encompasses variations in sex characteristics or reproductive anatomy. These variations can manifest in several ways including differences in genitalia, hormones, internal anatomy, or chromosomes.

Man, I'm salty. Kickstarter "help" scammers stopped using AI and began an email convo with an actual legit question an actual legit potential backer would ask. That sucks. Help combat this suck by being a real one! Back this all-trans Kickstarter (if able) and share (which you are able)!

Oh, hey It’s #intersex awareness day I am And because the entire system lies to intersex people & suppresses our stories, while I knew something -had- to be up, I did not know I was intersex until I was almost 30 That was tough Raise awareness, so it’s not so hard for others #LGBTQIA

Very heavy news as our former studio, BioWare closes its doors today. It was a formative place for many. However, many former BioWare devs are scattered around the industry. Find them, support them. Like, follow, comment and help us prove there is still support for the types of games we make!

Fun fact: The Incandescent started life as ‘the first enchanter and the knight commander of the templars in the circle tower section of dragon age origins should have kissed. also, they should both be women.‘

This is them stripping the company for parts. In a better economy with anyone else investing in video game companies, they might try to sell Bioware. Instead, it's cheaper just to shut it down, people and legendary games be damned.

I expected this, but it still hurts to lose that little sliver of hope. The Dragon Age games especially have meant a lot to me over the last decade (when I discovered them). Special thanks to @trickweekes.bsky.social for Taash. It meant a lot to see a character who...

transitioned during the game. It was sometimes awkward and uncomfortable in the same ways that my own transition was, and I appreciated that. I also have a general "do not want" approach to gender and resent having to deal with it at all. So thank you Trick, & all the rest of the team, for DA & ME.

WHAT ABOUT THE DEVS?? For the newly laid off ME team, that's complicated. To my knowledge, the people largely writing on the new ME did not work on the previous MEs. I have not heard where the current people are going. I'm also a Dragon Age fan account, so I know them better. Where did they land?

The latest update on 'How to bypass the Dragon Age Keep in case it goes down'! - PC saves are easily edited with a save editor, and so far are reported to be working as intended. - PS users have the method below which does require a computer to edit, but it's something! - Xbox... we dont know 😬

Kiranox@kiranox.bsky.social

@ghildirthalen.bsky.social has been working for a while to figure out an easy solution for if the Dragon Age Keep goes offline for the last time and I offered to help figure out the playstation side, and good news! We're excited to announce that we did it!

People mention LLMs a lot in terms of "increasing accessibility" And as someone with intermittent cognitive disabilities, I *really* want to highlight how much work it is to sort through AI slop to try to find accurate information

James Baillie@jubalbarca.bsky.social

The main way the LLM boom has affected my life is to make a lot of things so much harder. It makes information filtering an even more constant grinding process than it already was: it's noticeably worsened search info quality and makes it harder to find anything reliable and/or human and/or real.

This is not "a controversial vaccine trial," it's biological warfare, conducted by European researchers on African infants. It's imperialism, racism, eugenics, and the hubris of incredibly stupid people. It's denying vaccines to newborns! In what fuckin universe is this a "vaccine trial"?
