This evening's film is a rewatch of "Moon" from 2009.
It's Duncan Jones (yes, David's son) first feature film.
Great performance by Sam Rockwell.
If you've not seen it, check it out, a solid 5 out of 5

i still can’t get over a bunch of rightwingers saying “i can’t wait to make america healthy again by going to steak and shake by eating french fries fried in tallow 🙂” in complete sincerity
It is March 2, 2025. My plan was to leave the world on March 2, 2024.
What a difference in a year. I still have bad days. But reasons to stay are easier to find each day.
Thankful for family, for friends, for library kids who ARE going to save the world. Once a library kid, always a library kid 💚
‘Back to the Future’ writer Bob Gale says they’ll never make a fourth film
“People always say, ‘When are you guys going to do a Back to the Future 4?’ And we say, ‘Fuck you’ … And you can quote me on this”
Lions game has me on the edge of my seat. This is an offensive shootout for sure. Hopefully Dan Cambell can give a hell of a half time pep talk to these guys.
LET’S GO LIONS
Just finished silo season 2. although it was a slow start, i really thought the show found itself in the second half of the season i’m seriously considering picking up the books because there’s so many questions i have left unanswered, and idk if i have the patience to wait for season 3!

conspiracy theories are fully mainstream now

We’re not interested in games looking “hyper-realistic”
We’re interested in them being fun to play, cheap enough to actually buy on a regular salary, and not so large that the console can only store 7 at a time
Thanks
Gamers
Imagine watching disaster movies like The Day After Tomorrow or 2012 and thinking that the apocalyptic weather scenes were the “unrealistic” part.
Turns out those scenes were almost bang on.
The unrealistic part was the humans working together to overcome the problem & save the world. Sigh.
i'd like to counter the complaint that my show has "focused too much on elon musk" in recent years with the fact he seems to currently control the united states government
