Getting used to new house noises in the wind... different shaped roof is quite directional, and bed space is up in the pointy bit youtu.be/liQfRcPH9z4

I don't know that there is a template or a "secret sauce" or a clear-cut lesson to take from this. But if there is one it's the idea of treating social media as the hostile territory that it is, of actually acting like you are a participant in propaganda warfare and not like a consumer.

Fascinating Jeremy, now tell us about the time you cut national insurance twice as an electoral game despite knowing we couldn't afford it.
“Healey should remove anxiety and depression as a reason to claim benefits and offer people treatment instead. It would be better for the individuals and a fraction of the cost.” Read more: trib.al/cxsKwxw

A new reason to run an ad blocker! As always, great work by @citizenlab.ca
Researchers at The Citizen Lab have for the first time released technical evidence of sophisticated mercenary spyware being distributed via online advertising.

As a Muslim who has been accused of dual loyalty and asked to denounce everything from ISIS to the Iranian state, I breathed a sigh of relief that I think I’d been holding in for like two decades watching this.
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

The #NationalDataGuardian says: "Public and professional trust should be given substantial weight when evaluating any supplier of a system involving people’s health and care data" www.digitalhealth.net/2026/10/data... Quite different from what NHSE decided to put in their parliamentary briefing:
And: Isn't this a VERY odd thing to have to write into a procurement document: "NHS England has a duty to treat all suppliers the same regardless of the public perception of any organisation" I would absolutely disagree - NHSE has no such duty to ride roughshod over the public.

Oh FFS!! Stop regurgitating press releases from AI companies and taking their claims as gospel!! Validate their claims! Yes IoT devices are insecure but can they run an AI model? Probably no. Do they retain persistence? No. Will criminals use AI models over current scripts, e.g. Mirai? No.
Anthropic has said its experiments suggested small AI models may be months away from being capable enough to self-replicate on commercial Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices, such as smart ovens and off-brand Android TV boxes.
Blow up some more, it might make the world a better place for a long time
Zelensky: "When our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations... It’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from."

Errr.... right, so UK is having to find more money for defence against Russia... by cutting funding for heat pumps that get us off gas... thereby keeping us dependent on an energy commodity *weaponised* by Russia & international conflict. Smart thinking guys www.theguardian.com/environment/...
