Most of our presidents were rapists or abusers of some sort. We should probably sit with that in a more meaningful way than we do.

That’s also why Vivek isn’t exactly lying when he says he didn’t mean to say Acton lied about being raped as a child. He doesn’t think she lied; he thinks that being raped disqualifies her from office, because she belongs to the class of people power is wielded against, not the class that wields it.

CNN was slated to be TV pool today, and Politico was slated to be print pool. Both outlets were blocked from travel by the White House. In the absence of the TV and print poolers, Axios will support coverage of the president by sending updates from the secondary print seat. (2/3)

My trauma & addiction recovery shifted when I stopped thinking in terms of "problems," & started thinking in terms of patterns. Focusing on my problems was triggering & depressing me. Focusing on my patterns, w/ compassion & realism, started giving me options.

the most troubling part of this, is that he feels so comfortable saying it because he knows he won't incur any kind of repercussions and absolutely nothing will happen for it, and as we've seen, nothing did

We literally have the largest bike-touring event in the world which has been an annual summer state tradition for FIFTY YEARS. There's a giant exhibit in the state historical museum about it. This is comical.

Major news this morning. Louise Lucas, a chief antagonist of Trump and Virginia Republicans (and one of the most vocal proponents of gerrymandering the state earlier this year) is criminally charged by the feds over her marijuana business:
