So the Holy War is here and it's led by a guy who thinks he's AI Jesus, his drunken fool of a commander who is misquoting bible quotes from Tarantino films, while his VP tells the Pope to back off from theology stuff. And Evangelicals are like, well at least they hate the gays.

If mail in voting was truly problematic, Trump wouldn't have relied on it over and over again… The reality is this is about suppressing votes from communities that might not support Republicans. #TrumpVotedByMail

Donald has been posting unhinged, incoherent ramblings for a decade now, but his recent threats against sovereign nations brings us into totally new and dangerous territory. It’s time to start asking Republicans why they continue to back a man who is so obviously out of his mind.

So basically Trump’s argument is that he only bothered talking about how much he supposedly wanted peace and performed substance-free publicity stunts to win a prize, but since that didn’t fool anyone he’s not going to bother with that charade anymore and will just invade Europe.

See if you can read Bessent's words out loud without feeling deeply embarrassed for our nation.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Bessent on Greenland: "Peace through strength. Make it part of the US and there will not be a conflict because the US right now, we're the hottest country in the world, we're the strongest country in the world. Europeans project weakness. The US projects strength."

Reasons Trump is threatening to invade Greenland: 1. To hide the Epstein files. 2. To get the US expelled from NATO. 3. To divert European intelligence / support from Ukraine and the eastern front to the new western front. 4. He's a corrupt thieving greedy Nazi piece of shit.

Really? So now Kirk's murder is an "anti-Christian hate crime"? 350,000 churches in the US alone. Christians are hardly fucking oppressed. You want to see an "anti-Christian hate crime"? This is a fucking anti-Christian hate crime:

This article opens with a 3-year-old forced to represent herself in court. We live in a fundamentally sick country.

Elise Wang@elisewang.bsky.social

There is no sight that more efficiently puts the lie to immigration “court” than the common sight of children “representing themselves.” Children too small to climb into the chair, children in pajamas who don’t know where they are, children not yet old enough to speak.

Whether it's Donald Trump murdering the survivors aboard a sinking boat or Barack Obama wearing a tan suit to a press conference, both presidents engaged in some truly norm-busting behavior.

open.substack.com/pub/jefftied... Great read from Jeff Tiedrich: "when Joe Biden was president, the press would go ape-shit every time he mispronounced someone’s name... how is some rotting-brained dictator-wannabe calling for the execution of Democrats not a thousand times worse?..." #BlueCrew

Defending rude, indecent, and misogynistic conduct as "frankness" and "transparency." What a role model.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: What did the president mean when he called a reporter "piggy"? LEAVITT: Look, the president is very frank & honest with everyone in this room. You'll all seen it yourself. You've all experienced it yourselves. And I think it's one of the many reasons the American people reelected this president

Covering Jamal Khashoggi's murder was one of the most disturbing things I've worked on. Hearing Trump say he was "extremely controversial" and people "didn't like him" is chilling. Hard to take any other way than he thinks there is moral ambiguity in the murder of a journalist.

Y'all, JD Vance says the idea of continuing to provide food assistance to the needy during the shutdown "ABSURD!" Also, JD Vance had food to eat as kid because of SNAP

Pritzker: "Imagine it. Children who woke up that morning, expectant with joy & excitement to put on their costumes & celebrate with their neighbors in what they thought was a safe place at their homes. Armed, masked agents, terrorizing innocent people, especially children, is unconscionable."

Uhhh…. James Donald- You literally live in the same house with someone who speaks fluent Telugu as does her parents who migrated here from India…. #Idiot #vance #rasict

During the shutdown, Trump could find $40 billion to bail out Argentina & $300 million for a ballroom to host dinner parties with billionaires, but he won’t tap emergency funds to prevent millions of American kids from going hungry? How cruel is that?

Steve in CA reposted

24 million Americans are about to see their health insurance premiums double. 40 million Americans are about to see their SNAP benefits expire. But I'm glad to her he's fully focused on his ugly-ass gold ballroom.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Leavitt: "At this moment in time, of course, the ballroom is really the president's main priority."

Which of these did you vote for, MAGAs? 1. War with Venezuela 2. War with Mexico 3. War with Colombia 4. War on Tylenol 5. Marines firing onto US soil 6. Runaway inflation 7. Runaway unemployment 8. Luxury jets for all Trump officials 9. ICE shooting and/or gassing US citizen priests, cops and vets

You can't whine about being called Nazis when you hang a swastika in your office, your youth movement sends bigoted texts, your FBI attacks the ADL and SPLC, your Pentagon removes reporters, and your leader's private army demands people's papers during his mass deportations.

1. The $20 billion taxpayer-funded rescue package for Argentina, announced last week by the Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, delivers an enormous windfall to hedge fund billionaire Rob Citrone. Citrone has a longstanding personal and professional relationship with Bessent.
