It is atrocious we have to operate under this constant credible and explicit threat from one political party, the fact we keep calling it a “free and fair election” needs some light revising

Andy Craig@andycraig.bsky.social

Yes. My median scenario is Trump rants, it becomes their talking point, DOJ probably files some more junk suits like these, but then not much else happens. There's real risk of worse, some full push to go insane on Jan 3, but more likely it doesn't get that far, and also that would still fail.

This study is fascinating. Researchers found that respondents whose views corresponded with "hostile sexism" were by far the most likely to support transgender sports bans. I think people who have advocated on this issue have seen this for themselves. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

This is literally the end of the rule of law. If a President can pardon people committing crimes on his behalf - and the Supreme Court says he himself can't be prosecuted for crimes committed as part of his job - then the government becomes a lawless entity able to violate our rights without limit.

You know what pissed me off about the Ramaswamy ad beyond the obvious grotesqueries? There’s no EVIDENCE disputing Acton’s life story. There are court proceedings backing up her story.
