Given the number of foreign policy catastrophes of this administration it's really incredible to scroll through the NYT archives at the staggering number of pieces that were published about Benghazi over the span of Obama's entire 2nd term, as if there was never a bigger White House blunder.
Seeing how little coverage that house report that added another rape accusation to Trump's tally got today, I looked back on just the front page Benghazi stories (there were many, many more inside over these months).
Iowa Farmers paid $151,081,106 more for diesel for spring planting this year.
And this is before diesel hit record highs this fall, just in time for harvest. The Iran war is devastating Iowa farmers.
Zach Nunn voted 5x for this.
Astonishing: Maxwell was willing to tell Blanche about some of Trump's rapes, and he ordered her not to. "Let's not talk about inviduals." WTF were they there to talk about?
There's EVIDENCE on this.
This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up.
Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking.
The media response is "yawn."
The President of the United States has, conservatively, raped AT LEAST this many girls & women.
There’s no but here.
This nightmare must end.

For the fabulously wealthy, paying taxes is pretty much optional. They can borrow against their vast wealth, which is mostly an untaxed capital gain, without paying taxes. When they die, the capital gain goes to zero. And loopholes exist to bypass the estate tax too.
“Billionaires who popularized stock-based lending include Larry Ellison and Elon Musk. Both borrow to avoid having to sell shares—which could trigger a taxes and dilute their voting rights—in companies they founded.”

I don't care for how this has become almost a joke people throw in along with how he's old and fat and orange rather than a stomach-churning, existentially horrifying thing for a nation to know about its head of state.
I get they're inextricably intertwined but I kind of feel like leaning so much into how he was the longtime best buddy of the world's most notorious sex criminal has given it something of the feel of a political gotcha rather than the important part, which is that the president raped people.
I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.
Horrific reports from Kyiv, Ukraine💔

RIP Walter Koenig. 1936-2026 Only George Takai and William Shattner survive. Watching them always made me want to see a better planet earth and more evolved society.
"trump raped more people than expected" lacks the eye-grabby novelty and sociological depth of "in red state diner trump supporter supports trump" or "president's behavior presidential"
i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

The good news is that we are winning in court. The bad news is that we have to win every case. Trump only needs to subvert one election to break democracy.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today.
Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.
Trump has influenced not just what the Republican Party does but what they actually believe is acceptable.

This is really getting out of hand. Not just the ethnic cleansing but the fact the federal govt talks like this to the entire world x.com/ICEgov/statu...
Vile stuff. Perfectly clear that Robert Kennedy Jr. is a fascist and trying to position himself as Trump’s heir apparent.
I just want to take this moment to shout out all the post-left contrarian types who embraced him as some kind of independent voice for truth.
Good job, losers.
