The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

If the President commits an impeachable offence and Congress does not impeach, they're not doing their job. The impeachments might not result in the President being removed from his job. They still need to happen. If that's twice a day for the next two years, that's the President's own fault.

It's telling that men would rather try to invent tech to replace humans' role in caregiving than step up as equal partners in parenting. Telling, that is, in that it shows how financial capitalism and patriarchy work together to dissuade men from doing "unprofitable" labor, like the work of care.

Big day at U.S. District Court in D.C. where Sean Dunn, the D.C. Sandwich Guy, is on trial for misdemeanor assault of a federal officer. Border Patrol agent Gregory Lairmore is on the stand narrating surveillance video of the sammie toss. 'Now he’s struck me with the sandwich,' Lairmore says.

The word "treason" gets thrown about a lot these days, usually incorrectly. What does the Constitution have to say about it? "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them..." - Article 3, section 3

Trump: "The ones that are run by radical left Democrats -- what they've done to San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles. They're very unsafe places & we're gonna straighten them out one by one. This is gonna be a major part for some people in this room. That's a war too. It's war from within"

Every major outlet bent the knee today, giving wall-to-wall coverage to Kirk's funeral like it was state decree. This is how propaganda works: normalize the fascist, erase the truth. Don't let them gaslight you. Find independent journalism and fight back.

YYC Rezoning🧵 /7 When you start to see #Sprawl & the #HousingCrisis as 2 sides of the same coin, you can understand why a great many climate orgs support to ending/reversing the single units only" style of building that got us into this mess in the 1st place www.theglobeandmail.com/business/art...

theglobeandmail.comGovernments must change rules around housing to meet building, climate targets: task forceCross-partisan group suggest ending zoning restrictions that discourage urban density, avoiding new construction in areas prone to flood and wildfires, and subsidizing prefabrication

"Meeting people where they're at" is needed because you can't figure out how to guide someone from A to B if you don't know where A is. Public Health seems to think it means finding out where A is so they can set it as the new destination.
