Everyone keeps asking me how I’m feeling about early voting so far. I’m feeling like nobody *actually* knows anything, and this is the most important midterm of our lives. I’d rather be us than them, but we can’t get comfortable. We can’t get complacent. Go vote like we’re down 3%.

Political power is meant to be used to fight for the people you serve, not to line your own pockets and sell out millions of our tax dollars for a quick check.

A stunning defeat for a Trump-aligned right-wing leader in Europe. Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, whose government cultivated close ties with Donald Trump and his family, has conceded defeat to a student-led opposition movement in a historic parliamentary election.

Well, well, well…. An analysis of voter registration records reveals Republican operative Scott Presler had 3 out-of-state voters use his Pennsylvania address to vote in the 2024 election. This is what voter fraud looks like.

“Nobody invokes the Insurrection Act over people walking down the street with signs. It doesn't happen.” 🙄 Trump and his allies are *openly* floating using the Insurrection Act to seize voting machines or ballots in order to upend an election they expect to lose.

My dad worked on powerlines. He had a similar situation happen once when he touched a live wire and ended up unconscious 20feet up. His coworkers managed as a team to cut him down safely and get him awake. Incredible human beings.

I always get the strangest looks when as a legacy 50+ years in electrical/electronics fields, you will never meet a suicidal electrician. There’s no such thing as a failed attempt, unless there’s another brother around to kick start you.

I cried, too. My dad was a logger. When it got too hot and dry to fell trees, he and the other men in his crew helped stay on top of forest fires. I can't tell you how much I cried when he came home from that work.

My dad was a lineman for years. I remember being filled with dread anytime the phone rang in the middle of the night. It meant dad was going to work in a severe storm. The humanity in this picture makes me cry.

Truly an amazing story, being a retired lineman, I have to say that this young man that rescued his partner executed some most incredible climbing skills! Living life with love and submerging everybody with it is why we are here!

By the way, the name of his heroic coworker is J.D. Thompson. The BBC featured a new interview with him in July 2026, nearly 59 years after he saved Randall Champion. He spoke about climbing the pole, giving Champion mouth-to-mouth, and the moment Champion finally took a breath.
