Important to remember: All liberal democratic wins must follow through with swift action, visible results. When Soviet Union collapsed, elected officials failed to tackle corruption, take on oligarchs & mafia bosses who backed authoritarians. It's how Russia got Putin. Dems should take note.

The wins are real, yet they require effort to maintain. Orban gone still leaves Fidesz media, Vucic still has his dirty tricks, and Moscow just retools. Voting them out is the easy half.
