True story, accidentally fell deep into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and was pretty good at it when I was a CTO in the Bay Area. Really cool people, but.... Most get all information from Facebook. Had one person keep telling all new fathers at gym to not vax baby because a "doctor" on Facebook (quack)

why don't democratic mega-donors who want to replicate the right's successes fund a January 6th of the left? That seemed to be very effective at rallying the base, and truly cemented their policy agenda.

You think Republicans aren't throwing money and catching it? That's so ignorant and pathetic. Politics is all hate greed and the ultimate perversion. That's who owns the government; Democrats and Republicans alike. They're all blackmailed, bribed, or just out and proud nazis.

Libraries need to do a far better job promoting what they offer — which often includes free access to major and local publications (newspapers, etc.). And that’s just the snowflake on top of the iceberg. Signed, A Librarian

No. Fuck that. Site your sources or get the hell out of here with your opinion-based nonsense. Grow up and start thinking for yourselves. Open some books and learn to search engines and the library. Trust no one about anything unless you read the facts from the sources.

Not everything has to be fucking workshopped! This isn’t a fucking movie or reality show please just talk to regular ass people! I don’t need politics* in my podcasts and I don’t need podcasts in my politics stop it!! *silly jokes and lamentations are exempt

Subscribing to factual news sources is part of the Resistance. The Atlantic, New York Times. The podcast Medias Touch just won a Webbie award for their truthful, podcast that is listened to all over the world. Support ACLU and SPLC.

The people you need to reach are obsessed by "manly" stuff and lack critical thinking: Military, Martial Arts, even Graduate Data Science programs. Don't ask why I know...

Oh for sure, I don't think it'll reach the audience, but neither will their strategy. It's just that at least this way the rest of us have something nice to read.

They need someone who is sufficiently coin-operated to be controllable w/ money. Spreading money around tens or hundreds of existing independent journalists and pundits would be too unwieldy.

For the money they're throwing at the problem, they could literally hire a dozen charismatic liberal arts majors to show up to parties Joe attends, or invite him to parties, where they explain that he should be liberal and give him ideas. Why make a new Rogan? Just make Rogan liberal.

This also means that instead of howling into an echo chamber, he's pushing your talking points to people who are demonstrably persuadable, who already listen to him, and who evangelize for his talking points.

If I had time for another side project, I think it'd be sick for Democratic state parties to pay for local news subscriptions for every "party member" (definition TK.) Incentivize joining the party by attaching a service to it, underwrite local news outlets -- a win/win.

Nah.... I've voted Dem every election. I've poll watched, knocked on doors... etc... But.. as my 90+ yr-old Dad said, "the only thing Dems will are getting from me anymore is my vote." I am DONE with the party. They are in bed with big$, even in this crisis, most of Dems are not stepping up.🤷🏻‍♀️

state and local party-run community centers, that provide access to services along with free events and cheap spaces for social gatherings, would be a game-changer. Republicans have been running them for Latin communities in southern Florida, where they just overtook Dems in registration.
